Could any of the devs do us fans a favor and dump each mechs hard point and weapon restrictions for each planned variant so far? That way we can all build designs while we wait for beta, and maybe even start a whole design section of the forum. I'll give us something to do in the mean time.

Probably should be in the suggestions forum? I totally agree, though! Even just listing the hardpoints for the currently-in-game mechs and not the yet-to-be-seen ones

The problem is those are likely to change during the beta. Didn't the video for the 'Mech Bay show one set of hard points for the Hunchback, while the screenshots showed another?

There were 2 different variants of the Hunchback presented so far, the standerd 4G and the 4P "Swayback." They have different hardpoint configurations.
And it is likely that hardpoints wil be shuffled around as Beta progresses, so the soonest I expect to see a Master Hardpoint Layout list would be at game launch.

I agree that this should be moved to the suggestions area of the forum. But i do wish the dev's could give us something to do while we wait.
Some of us are close to losing our sanity afterall.
I don't mean all the mechs and variants should be released. Just those that they know for certain will be in the game.

Yeah... The thing about asking for hardpoint list on 'mechs, is that the game is still in beta. Everything is subject to change. Also, I'm sure that there probably is some legal ramifications about releasing information that is that in-depth. Might not sound like it would give much away, but then you have to remember that if they release a hardpoint list, then we will know every single variant that is confirmed in-game...
So, I propose instead that we all play older MW games, and just wait. You'll be playing this game before you know it, that's how fast time flies

The best source I have found for hardpoint information so far is the IGN MWO Wiki. On the side menu, drill down to Battlemechs/Weight Class and select a particular mech.
I'm of the opinion that none of this is final info, but it is what I'm using at the moment when I tinker in REMLAB.

It only shows what we already know, from the weapon loadout in the concept art (and occasionally fluff prose of our female protagonist), and screenshots, and offers nothing in terms of additional hardpoints the mechs may have, which is a very important (and currently unknown) factor.
and the cicada doesn't even bother to list the UAC/5

I'm planning mine based on the the previous games inc. table top. So I can prep for multiple outcomes.

Pretty sure they have enough going on right now.
Work on giving us what you want or spending time reacting to Beta and getting the game ready for launch?

If you look at the mechlab screenshots for the Catpult K2(?) and Hunchback 4G, as well as the video walk through, you get some of the hardponts for those mechs. But it is also a case in point for the reality that things will change because the Hunchback has 3 energy hardpoints in the CT where there are only 2 open critical slots to begin with. Obviously that should be fixed.
