We are currently assessing the increase in LRM/SSRM/SRM damage currently on the live production servers. Expect an official response later today. A hot fix is likely this week.

UPDATE: We will be pushing through a hot fix tomorrow at 10am PDT. Changes will be posted tomorrow.

UPDATE 2: We worked late into the night last night testing out some new values. The test build is currently being pushed to the test servers and we plan to bring down servers at 16:00 PDT (23:00 UTC) for a hot fix. Estimated downtime - 30mins.

not today? wow ok then missile boat money grind for a week should be able to get 150 mil more this week then

1855 damage in any build cannot be normal.

What no more Super Saiyan 3 LRMS? Please keep us updated when you have an ETA on the fix, because I'm not going out there unless I can equip a 200 armor helmet on all my mechs.

I've seen an Awesome missile boat more or less solo the entire enemy team, getting 1500+ damage. The only reason he didn't get more was because I was lobbing LRMs next to him in my "half Cat" Raven (ALRM15, 2ML, TAG). It was a bloodbath. I'm very happy this is getting looked at.

Good. Missiles have been a little too potent for their skill requirement for some time. I say this from personal experience as an LRM boat in a group with only 1 other player.

Just implement the splash damage removal this week instead of April 2nd and problem solved.

Awesome, the sooner the better. I tried out a missle boat for the first time to see if it was as bad as I thought and well... it was even worse. And even though LRM is getting the most attention theres definitely a problem with ssrm. I was in a 3L earlier and came across a ecm commando and in one alpha (3ml 2ssrm2) took out half his mech and then the 2ssrm2 killed him.

I miss how larms were back two patches ago, before Artemis was buffed. They were perfect. :)
