With the proliferation of countless mercenary units, it would be nice to take advantage of the MRB (MRCB eventually).

In-game the MRB would track and rank successful mercenary units and be the neutral third party between payer and payee. It would accommodate grouped units (two or more from a mercenary unit) or lone wolves. Contracts would be mission-based, with bonuses for kills and other such things. Eventually contracts would evolve into something larger, but only time will tell (community warfare for example).

Also, it would allow for merc units to register their unit as a whole, then designate lances for hire, and/or individual prices if need be.

Reason for Mercenary forum and not suggestion forum is that it should be community driven. While the transaction side of it would naturally fall to PGI, the reviews and subsequent rise and fall of mercenary companies would fall to the community. Successful and good merc companies get hired, lesser outfits and units do not, unless they charge a cheaper price.

BUMP. Does anyone know if there is any organized community group for this? As far as I can recall there was something briefly with the majority being well known ForumWarriors etc. But what I recall happened is that that quickly fell apart.
