You can see it at 0:22-0:27, 1:15-1:16, and 1:51-1:56.

It appears to be a hero 'Mech as well, specifically Rhonda Snord's.

Quote

From Sarna
Rhonda Snord piloted a Highlander battlemech for most of her career, and was known to play Elvis Presley music over its external speakers.

A few things to note:

It looks as if the Highlander will also be like the Jagermech, where its weapons are more accurately portrayed visually.

The hardpoint layout on the hero 'Mech appears to be at least 1 ballistic on the right arm, at least 2 missile on the left torso, and 3 energy on the left arm. It has external speakers around the cockpit, but the trailer doesn't indicate if they'll actually play music or anything.

There is already a thread about this but basically

4 Energy - (1 LT, 3 LA)
1 Ballistic - (RA)
2 Missile - (2 LT)

Edit: my numbers got finagled, i fixed them. Picture included.

I searched before I posted, and saw none.

I don't understand your breakdown though. How is one ballistic in 2 in the left torso when it's clearly on the right arm? Maybe I just don't understand your formatting.

So, left torso dead = 6 of 7 weapons destroyed. That's sad.
I would love and probably buy a solid assault hero mech though. :-)

I just want a mech that can use 4 ultra ac5's.. (with enough ammo obviously, not the jag).

COME ON ANNHILATOR!

I prefer an Assault that can have Dual AC20. C'mon King Crab!

It'll be awesome when they add death from above mechanics.

Chances are the right arm will have 2-3 ballistic h-points, if past designs are any indication
also, close look at right torso/shoulder, next to the speakers, reveals another potential energy hardpoint. Small "box" right over the actuator itself, center of the black diagonal stripe.
gonna need some of the Pretty Baby's agility to really interest me, as if it's as ponderous as an Atlas or Stalker, it will mostly still excel as a standoff weapon, not a brawler.

Most logical upgrade over stock is DHS, with possible TAG in the LT. Otherwise, save for the actual size of the LRM launcher, probably not too far from stock, though.

Negative on the leg mounted AMS. If one like at stock highlander art, it appears to be part of a shock absorption system.

Leg mounted and would also have too limited a fire arc and would probably caus friendly damage.

I doubt that. I think it's just part of the structure. It's part of the concept art too.

If I were to guess, they're probably like pneumatic shock absorbers so the Highlander can take a hard landing. That is how they designed the legs, after all.

also whats shown I think we can pretty much assume to be a hero mech

Posted Image

the Gauss Arm has "Heavy Metal" written on the side - so its obviously a custom paint scheme - its part of the description of the Rhonda Snord highlander. Rhonda Snord had loudspeakers mounted around the head of her Highlander which was pink.
