There has only ever been one that I liked, and that's only because it included a song that I felt perfectly suited combat on the dueling world of Solaris VII; a world of neon, holograms, steel, and c-bills. Of course, I tend to think of Solaris 7 in Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries' style.
Fast-forward to 1m18s if it doesn't do it automatically.
Song is "Rebel Riot" by "Dope Stars Inc"
There's other stuff I listen to for other kinds of games. I tend to like to listen to old 80s metal like Dio, and Iron maiden when playing 3025-era small merc unit combat through the RPG. When outside of 'mechs, it's future synthpop, coupled with classic bands like Hall and Oates, Mr. Mister, Corey Hart, and Lita Ford. In a pinch, the old transformers song "You've got the touch" also suits the era well, granted that you're not so attached to transformers that you can't help but think of them when you hear the song. Battletech is the future of the 80s, after all. If there's any out-of-mech parts in the game like Bars, if they give it a flare for the 80s and early 90s sci-fi, albeit polished to modern tastes, I would love it.

Especially "Arkham Bridge", the electric violin on that track still gives me goosebumps 15 years later.
I can't believe there was only this response concerning MW2 soundtrack.
While I remember some pretty good pumpin' tracks on MW4, I still thinks MW2 soundtrack takes the whole cake and eats it when Mech combat is in question. Absolutely brilliant.
