I'm curious to know how will this work. Can we only use the secondary and tertiary screens for extended field-of-view, or will we be able to use them with whatever information we want, like a bigger radar screen, pip camera (if you guys take this suggestion) and etc.

I ask this because while it will be awesome for those with 3 screens, those who have two screens might feel its a little bit odd to be able to see only one side, and wish they could use the secondary screen for something else.

Ah, and what about different resolutions? Will the game simply try to extend the resolution (5040x1050, with 3 22'' screens) or actually detect each screen as a separate screen?

if anything i would say it would be "display 1 is the left half, display 2 is the right half" or something. It would be kinda neat if you could move hud elements though so that you could have the "lower" display be your canopy view while an "upper" display would be all the hud elements, as if they were on the ceiling/upper wind shield of the mech

I know this will start the AMD vs NVIDIA competition.

So I want the the NVIDIA solution...incase I want to get the GTX680 later I can run 4 monitors on it, I heard the solutiion has matured lately quite a bit too.

Also, I did see an NVIDIA logo as there partner, don't know about AMD, so...I win NVIDIA IS THE BESTEST!

No, please no :)

I am really worried that they are only focusing on triple configuration. Or worse, focusing only on people who not only have three screens, but of the same size as well.

So they are going to offer support for people with three or more screens ... state of the art flight sticks and simulator controls ...

I wonder how the simple guy with a 18'' CRT screen and budget keyboard + mouse will compete with these people. Makes you wonder why they are going with F2P in the first place.

Yes there has been an answer on this. It was "Yes." In other words, yes they want you to be able to use multiple monitors, joysticks, power tools, backhoes, and various other machinery.

In other words, if you search and don't find, then likely the answer isn't out there. If you don't search, then you don't deserve an answer, although people will give you one anyway.

I have searched and all that i have found was confirmation that the game will take advantage of it, with another answer saying that those with 3 screens will be in for a treat.

The question was not "Will the game have multi-monitor support?". The question was "Multi-monitor support. Any word on how it'll work?"

It would be sweet for those of us with only two monitors to have a situation awareness display on the off screen. I could see a commander potentially wanting to play this way. The bigger view of the tactical information would be a huge help.

I'm hoping to offload a lot of my HUD to my secondary monitor. I.E weapon groups, map, heat dial. Leave my HUD somewhat uncluttered.

Sort of defeats the point of a HUD, doesn't it?

2 23" LED's currently... 3rd on the way (most likely this week it's going to be added...)... as for everything else?? standard mouse/keyboard combo here...

Can understand your concern over the "simple guy running an 18" and budget components"... but then again... how about those of us that HAVE the means to get some fancy bells and whistles on our systems...?? I honestly think seeing that it's so early in the game development.... that they'll be caterring to all users... single monitor?? no worries... multiple?? arrange them how you want... pure conjecture on my part but still...

Give 'em time... and wait and see what they give us...
