There seriously needs to be a tax on "good" players. Why are they so good? Who cares, they are making more C-Bills than us "not-so-good" players and it is putting us at a disadvantage when trying to keep up with the new mechs rolling out the door.

I formally propose that we institute a tax system wherein the "good" players (those who are ruthlessly atop the score board all the time, or have good stats), must contribute a certain percentage of their winnings to those on the bottom rung, the "not-so-good" players (those who are unfortunately at the bottom of the score board, or have not-so-good stats).

In this way we will be able to further stimulate the spending of C-Bills by newer players. At the same time we will be helping those disadvantaged by being new, since they are unfortunately among the poorest pilots in our world. This will also help them cope with the feeling of being left out, since they will now be able to share in the winnings as well.

Ontop of that, I also propose a retro-tax on any pilots with holdings in excess of 20million C-Bills. Why do they need so much money? What can they possibly do with it all! The harsh reality is the majority of them have HUGE mech-bays FULL of top of the line hardware. They probably have elevators too(oh the humanity..)! What do the newer players have? A bunch of cheap rental mechs and a runned down dilapidated mech-bay. We all know how cruddy the rental mechs are ("Trial" mechs?! HA!), so why are we forcing the newer players to use them? We must try to understand their plight and be unselfish. We must sacrifice a portion of what we earn so they may feel more at home within our world.

The fact that PGI has allowed this situation to continue for so long is both appalling and infuriating. How could they not see the errors of their ways? We must look towards our fellow brethren and realize that we must share with them the fruits of our labor, so that we may all benefit!

Only by closing the gap between rich and new can we achieve the long sought after balance in our world. The balance we have all been seeking. I humbly ask of you to join the cause in establishing an order that WILL bring order to where there is only chaos, where the rich prey upon the new.

It will not be easy, it will be expensive, but in the end if we can achieve our goals we can finally look at ourselves in the mirror and know we made a difference!

Video games are not about equality. They are about fairness, but why would you play a competitive game where you want basic welfare for sucking.

No; also tldr.

No way, then those shiftless bums will just sit in the bottom of the scoreboard with 0dmg and feed off my hard earned cbills coming to them via mecha-welfare.

[/end trolling]

They just play a lot of matches and practice a lot. Also working out what works and what doesn't in Mech builds, what they're good at etc.

That's really funny! You meant yourself when you said someone... that's actually pretty clever but makes your post totally irrelevant.

Posters who use large fonts are over-powered.
Clearly these posters must be somehow nerfed, or everybody else must be buffed. The use of large type, bold, and capital letters does not allow for the equal expression of ideas.

Excellent troll.

This not the way socialism works. Stealing from the rich and giving it to the poor is what bandits do.
What you want to imply with socialism is an equal distribution of wealth, from each according to his ability, to each according to his need.

In that sense, spoils of war get distributed equally amongs the team. It is called "salvage bonus" and it is plain amount divided by number of teammates. So every player will get an equal share of loot, plus another bonus according to his role and skill, whether were from the kills, assist, spotting or capping.

So in that regard, the monetary reward system works in the terms mentioned above.

I love OP post.......absolutely entertaining. :D

We should streatch out OP's vision.

Imagine every HOUSE has differ economic system ect.

Under some "the PEOPLE" own your mechs ect.

Some might have a Feudal/warlord system......where you pay out c-bills to your vassels ect.

I'll sail the other direction; re-introduce re-arm and repair and get those at the bottom of the scorebaord to pay for the leader's re-arm and repair.

Got to have an incentive - and nothing speaks incentive like "don't be that guy".

Ladies and gentleman.

May I introduce you to the system of shared rewards?

All the damage, kills and assists, basically everything that contributes either XP or CBill rewards, gets pooled for the whole team. And after the match, it will be equally divided between the players. This way, weak players would get the exact same rewards as good players.

My communism OWNS your communism.

I've seen 300m+ over here, and I'm not surprised, I myself get 11m a day, so 300 is a few week of playing.

I am currently space-poor because I bought a lot of mechs, upgraded them, but don't play for very many hours. On top of that I'm not very good with several chassis variants and therefore don't earn a lot when I'm trying to level them up. Sure, I could level up fewer variants, or play for more hours, but I choose to do it my way and be poor. Therefore people who either spent less money (and therefore have more in the bank) or play for more hours (and therefore have more money) should have to give me some so I have more too!

Also this, so if I go AFK or DC I still get full rewards. The current system is too punishing for players that don't do anything. I want what they have w/out doing anything.

I am assuming this is some sort of thinly-veiled attempt at political satire?
