This list is not correct.

Named from the feline inhabiting the northern mountains of Tokasha, Clan Stone Lion was created from the remaining Homeworld members of Clan Hell's Horses after the Abjuration of their Inner Sphere portion in 3075.

There were 20 original Clans. One was destroyed the other 2 absorbed. So that leaves 17 yes.

And that means they are considered Clan Faction, thus not controlled by any one group.

You might need to add the Raven Alliance to the clan list that currently does not exist in the current time line. Clan Snow Raven merged with the Outworlds Alliance in the 3060's forming the Raven Alliance.

I would point out that Clan Cloud Cobra was preparing for operation revival, having created a new Galaxy (Zeta Galaxy, Prophets of Babylon) for that sole purpose and also making key arguments in favor of the invasion.. (and having previously supported Clan Wolf's intelligence gathering operations). It caught most people off guard when Khan Steiner withdrew the Clan from the bidding process. The Khan was immediately challenged by a multitude of Clan Cloud Cobra Mechwarriors, each of whom was counter challenged by SaKhan Leighton Khatib. Only after Clan Cloud Cobra witnessed the failure of the Clan Invasion, due to infighting and arrogance, did the majority of Cloud Cobra Mechwarriors realize that the invasion was against The Way and forgive Khan Steiner.

The Raven Alliance, much like the Ghost Bear Dominion, is an inner sphere power, not a clan.

Im sorry but I would have to disagree for one, the Raven Alliance is located in the Outer Sphere Periphery not the Inner Sphere and are led by Khan Sterling McKenna and still reatain Clan warrior caste. After the jihad many clans occupied worlds in the Outer Sphere Periphery Including Clan Snow Raven. Clan Snow Raven after becoming the Raven Alliance are in no way a "Inner Sphere power" Please atleast read the links I provided to Sarna.net before you make such claims.

Well, the division seems to be between Inner Sphere, and Clan Homeworlds. And RA did take worlds from DC.

As of 3145, all clans are either destroyed, or somehow integrated into the local population - probably to create a "stable" environment for the next jump to 3250.

CJF anc CHH have their occupation zones, CW packed up and left, carving out a Wolf Empire from Lyran and FWL worlds. CNC was wiped out, though mystic Kisho did make it out with some warriors, supposedly headed for the Clan Protectorate in the new FWL (Spirit Cats, and CSF Delta Aimag). Ravens and Bears integrated with their populations as RA and RD respectively. So did the scorpions, leaving 4 clans in the homeworlds.

After the culling, 11 clans are left in some form or another: CW, CJF, CHH, CGB, CSR, CSF (the council of six Inner Sphere clans), CSA, CC, CCC, CSL (the 4 Homeworld Clans), CGS (Escorpion Imperio).

Very nice summary I just hope that The Raven Alliance gets recognised as a Clan now that Niko has posted this thread since they are "regarded as having bloodheritage" as niko has stated above for all intent and purpose though I dont mind running under the Clan Snow Raven banner for Community Warfare.

I understand the history of the Raven Alliance, thank you. For the Record, I believe that the Raven Alliance shouldn't be included among the list of Clans for the same reason that the Ghost Bear Dominion shouldn't be included, and also for the reason that we don't need to include both Clan Diamond Shark and Clan Sea Fox. The idea being that these are not entirely new Clans, but are rather a different form of Clans that already exist and are represented.

The comment about the Alliance being an IS power and not a clan was from the perspective of my favorite Clan, Cloud Cobra, which not only sees no difference between the Inner Sphere and the Periphery, but also questions the purity of those Clans who decided to cut off contact with the pentagon worlds and instead increase contacts with the Inner Sphere powers.

Except you can't, because there won't be one under PGI's current plans.

Dude, it`s not our fault that the IS commanders are so intelligent as to have their "front line" units deep in IS space fighting each other.. we`d go faster if we could, but even clan jumpships can`t do warp 500. Heck, the jump drives are constantly overheating from overuse as is.... Last I heard they were pumping icewater from Thule into the Kerenksy because the drives were about to melt from doung 12 jumps in one day.... Not to mention the Jet-lag.... :D

But don`t worry, your unit will get it`s turn to try and stop us in due time, and it could well be sooner than you like. ;)

Jihad and DA have no place in MW:O at this time. Take those alternate realities away and forget them.

CBS has different plans beginning 3060 (and would get away with it too, if we were allowed to write the fiction.)
