i7 2700K (with aftermarket CPU cooler)
16 gbs of RAM
64-bit OS
10k rpm 600 gb velociraptor HDD
ASUS Radeon HD 6970 DirectCUII 2 gb GDDR5
CoolerMaster case (a discontinued line with super amazing fan and airflow setup and a ton of internal space)
ASUS P8P67 Deluxe motherboard
Samsung 24" widescreen LCD monitor

All individually purchased and home built. It's amazing the kind of gear you can get for a super reasonable price if you are willing to take the minimal time and effort to do some online price comparisons and put it together yourself.

ASUS P9X79 -- 4x USB 3.0

I can game with the CPU and GPU OCed and the rig is nearly silent. The hard drive makes the most noise when it has to spin up.

I just upgraded last month, specifically for this game :) I know this won't be anywhere near the top, but it is great for me currently. I may upgrade the video card after I play a bit of MWO, depending on how high I can crank settings with my current model:

CPU: Intel Core i5 3550 (quad-core, 3.3GHz)
RAM: 16GB Mushkin DDR3-1333
Video Card: nVidia GeForce GTX 460 768MB
Drive: Intel X25-M 120GB SSD
Power Supply: Seasonic S12 650W
Case: Silverstone SG01
Monitor: Hannspree 28" HDTV (1920x1200)

A SOAD lyrics come to my mind as soon as i saw the thread (bit modified :) )
My e-peen is much bigger than yours,
My e-peen can walk right through the door
With a feeling so pure..
It's got you screaming back for more.

Tho according to the specific, my machine will handle MWO easily, but definitly not winning this match :)

i0dine, I put a Sabertooth in my wife's rig which is nearly identical to mine. I wish I had bought one as well. Thermal Armor is great.
