i think in the game the name of the closest to that is "tundra".
tundra and methane colors combined could make a pretty good cammo as well

But seriously, any very light tone tan, yellow, green, or grey should be decent-ish. Heck the default color is actually decent everywhere but Frozen City.
Alternately, very dark blues and greys can work so long as you have a building or rock outcropping behind you.

That being said, I prefer obnoxious:
This is actually fairly toned down for my mechs, it just happens to be the only screenshot I have easy access to at the moment.

I say all that not to brag, but to add weight when I say that camo for hiding does not work. To make the game run smoother, the LOD models make you look black at distance. You are a black silhouette. Don't hate on the devs, most games do this as well. Up close, say inside about 200 meters where I can actually see your camo pattern and color, I'm going to see you regardless.
Any mech, even a bright green and construction site yellow Atlas can hide in dark areas at distance to some degree. Forest Colony is the best example.
The best use of camo patterns I have found is to try and break-up your mech's individual parts. Make it harder for the enemy to recognize parts they would want to target. So, use high contrasting colors. Effective patterns are going to vary depending on the mech. And, the effects are marginal on good players. Believe it or not, that yellow and purple Raven above works in this regard! If he is moving at a decent clip, his lines are going to be hard to read if I am trying to aim down on, say, that gullet to core him. Or to pick out the plate on the beak for the side torso.

Yeah when you customize your mech's color it shows you have confidence in it (or MC to blow, but most people will think the former. Especially if you're using colors other than the PC gamer colors)). It shows you have an affinity for that mech and that can have 1 of 2 effects.
1: They see you as a threat and they make you a priority.
2: They see you as a threat and it intimidate them.
But if you're green? You're just another mech on the field.
