I thought there was not really that much information about the current state of the game (since there aren't that many official news lately) but just by reading Russ' posts from the last week I learned more about beta, early access, E3, etc than from all the forum browsing I actually did during the last week!

Same, this is a handy resource. I guess I can just bookmark all the dev profiles, or friend them or whatever, but this is a convenient centralized place to go.
