Rejoice, Clan RP'ers! The infamous suicide sled that is the Hunchback IIC, the walking coffin for any Clanner over the age of thirty, is possible to approximate in MWO.

BEHOLD!

Remember, if you're not an author's special mary sue canister-child then you go in one of these once you get "old"! :D

Overview
Developed by Clan Smoke Jaguar, the Hunchback IIC was not originally intended for those warriors attempting to turn their failing careers around, or to make a quick name in battle, as was believed by Inner Sphere observers. Instead, in an exceptionally unusual turn of events considering the Clan's waste-notwant- not mentality, it was deliberately produced for
warriors who had fallen into such disfavor that their next battle would be intended as their last. With absolutely no effort put to survivability, all the resources went into allowing the pilot to die with a semblance of dignity by killing at least one opposing machine before falling in battle. The assignment of a Hunchback IIC was to be a death sentence.

However, its image changed when a Star equipped with the BattleMechs in 3015 fought a Trial of Possession for a group of recently manufactured BattleMechs against a vastly larger force of Jade Falcons on Circe. Since then, many Clan MechWarriors have begun to look upon the secondline design with some respect.

Never understood putting a failing pilot into an expensive(relatively speaking) mech to die with some sort of honor. Why not stuff him in an elemental suit and let him leg hump a mech to death. I personally love the HB2C, one of my favorite clan mechs. Hard to go wrong with 2 ultra 20s in the rear end by a jumping hunchback.

I didn't know this website existed. However, the "build your own mech" function would be great...if it worked.

Elementals were specially bred to fit into their suits - they were 7+foot tall hulking brutes.
Aerospace fighters were the exact opposite being slender and small, and being resistant to g forces in their whizz bang jets.

They put their old warriors in the suicide sled since it was virtually guaranteed to knock an enemy out of the park before going down, thereby giving their old timer an honourable and purposeful end.

The alternative was to be transferred to a salomeh (sp?) shock infantry unit.

Check the actual loadout that PGI has provided. There are drastic chages including twice the armor and an XL210, with all the dakka still.
