wanting to paint me mech in a certain unit colors, but limited with c-bills purchases. as I posted before I would like to join a unit (almost thinking of creating one) from the Alshain District. even so, the only colors i can find to date for one of the units is white with red. but with c-bills only i can only use the red, not any form of white. which is disturbing there should be a basic white available just like there's a basic red, basic green, basic blue. anyways just a small annoyance and it maybe in the wrong thread if it is sorry, just had limited time to write this and find spot to put it.

I doubt any unit would have a problem if you use a red mech. If you tell them that you don't want to spend money on a paintjob (which are expensive, no doubts about that) I'm pretty sure they will respect that (and full red is the standard for DCMS units anyway) . You just shouldn't run around with the basic green camo, they might mistake you for a Liao mech and shoot you in the back

Try the basic red with blue or orange trim for a general Kurita look. As of right now, most units don't have a set scheme due to the lack of more basic colors.

Base Red is really solid.
From what I experience is that Ox Blood and Crimson are Great if you Must buy a red.
Pretty much any Black. Go for Camo it's cheapest unless you're lusting after Obsidian.
Different units have different colors.
Check out the Unit Roster

This is a great resource for unit colors. Do not feel constrained by red/black as there are diverse choices within the DCMS.

Agreed, the Arab units like Arkab Legion use much different colors, and are still technically DCMS. Although they have to repair their own mechs, since they've only got limited autonomy...

My Mechs are all Citrine, Camo Black & Titanium White tiger stripes (all look like actual tigers!).

Would most units go for that, I'm looking to join one eventually?

Thanks.

@ The Unknown Pilot

Most units have specific 'Unit' colours, but the majority of the HK units that I know well don't enforce players to run in unit colours, most of the time I don't run in my units colours but in my personal camo scheme.

Yes our unit colors are red and purple with whatever you want thrown in, but only on special occasions do we all run the same colors.
