Hi All,

I see a lot of posts for people who have played this a lot, but none dedicated to the new player or the player that has never rpg'd in InnerSphere, I count myself in the latter bracket.

I feel it may be helpfull if those who had the experience used this thread to assist those of us who do not.

My Only experience is from MW4, mostly Vengeance, Originaly Solo, then with Dark Rift, then with TimberWolves. We mainly rpg'd as Clanners who strictly observed Lore and codex. I played Vengeance from the start in 2000 until Microsoft pulled the plugs on the servers. I miss the game a lot and am looking forward to this Universe and Timeline.

As I understand from the existing Lore/Canon, this is the Most Honorable of the IS Factions. The main religion being that of Bushido. ( The same as the Samurai Warrior ).

More information and guidance would be appreciated.

~S~

There is so much to know/learn where would you like to start? House history or Movers and Shakers? Just for instance.

Also there is bad then there is Bad http://www.sarna.net...Kai_Allard-Liao

When you single-highhandedly defeat the Falcon Guard you are the badest of the Bad!

I made a thread awhile back that briefly talked about the various Houses.
As we get more info about this video game I'll update the thread.

As far as I can make out There was a war of 3039 which ended in 3040

There is nothing until 3050 and the battle of Wolcott http://www.sarna.net...=edit&redlink=1 no information available on this battle.

If anyone has good intel could the publish the link in this Thread, I think it is important that we gather as much info as Possible and be well prepared for the Launch August 3049.

3040 to 3050 was a quiet time for the Dracs if we go by the official timeline:
http://bg.battletech.com/?page_id=1633

My only thought would be some minor raids occured but overall the Dragon was still healing from the Davion aggression and the Fox was licking his wounds.

all the IS houses are as bad as each other, all that differs is tthe amount of power they wield, and how big their propaganda machine is.

<spit take!>

Nothing says honorable like the ISF, military dictatorship, and citizen "re-education camps".

The Combine is a Great House to be a Part of as long as you are in the Military that is. The Fed Com is not as tuff on their citizens. I am a Theodore Kurita is My Hero. He makes the Combine Great. Long Live Theodore! Long Live the Dragon!

To clarify this statment, he goaded the Falcon Gaurds into a valley, and then used a nuke or explosives to bury thier unit...I wouldnt exaclty call his tactic badass, I would call it lucky, given they could have gone around his trap.

Unfortunately Handbook:House Kurita has not been published yet, sidelined by important projects such as Objectives:The Search for More Money and TRO:Designs you won't use.

With this "Jihad" business over, hopefully we can expect HB:HK to be published next year.

I thought The Search for More Money was the Spaceballs 2 title.

Currently Theodore Kurita is only the Gunji-no-Kanrei (Deputy of Military Affairs), and Takashi Kurita is the current Coordinator, the year being 3048 (currently... will be 3049 when the game is released).

A fun look at how nice the Snakes are.

Quote

Using these raids as a pretext, the Draconis Combine accused the Dragoons of breach of contract, followed by general anti-Dragoon propaganda, sabotage and engineered riots; the unit was also framed for alleged war crimes. To put further pressure on the Dragoons, Hephaestus, their space station orbiting their HQ world of An Ting, was captured by Kurita special forces masquerading as freedom fighters.
