While I'm thinking about - the most advantage of Manei Domini - isn't existent in MWO -or at least i can't imagin how it would improve anything?
I have a Buffered VDNI...that allows me to negate the negative impact of a Light Cockpit.(we don't have PSR at all)
C3i allows weapon sharing - great tool and not needed in current implementation of MWO

What else? Weapons of Mass Destruction....although - I really don't want even to fire a Davy Crocket M...at those small maps

We only have to advance to timeline to 3053 or so for the WOB to exist as a military power. In 3053 the WOB only uses Star League level tech (which we currently have in MWO). That is why I suggested that we start a Com Guard (ROM) unit, like the Wrath of Blake, which would turn over to the Light of Mankind after the battle of Tukayyid.

Again, we do not have to advance the timeline that far to have WOB as a playable faction.

Blakism existed soon after Jerome Blake's passing.
To largely to Conrad Toyama's fervert idolization of Jerome Blake.
The seperate sects of Blakism have been around....but the Order wasn't offically founded until Demona Aziz.
John Christopher was actually the Dem-Precentor of the Light of Mankind for sometime prior to the Jihad.

Just make yourself Marik. After all the real Thomas Marik isn't hanging out in the FWL but is in Comstar and eventually takes the name of "The Master" as the head cultist in charge of the Word of Blake.

I totally would join a WoB clan/unit if they made it an actual faction. Religious extremism ruffles so many feathers. Death to infidels and all that.

Type putting "Peace of Blake be with you." at the start of a game.

It opens the floodgates of anger it seems.

I've noticed a large portion of the games population is hypersensitive, especially when they feel the need to "correct" someone. It is most amusing and sometimes more entertaining than the drop itself.

Word of Blake is well established in the timeline, it just isn't a public faction yet. Look up The Master on the interweb mate.

It would make more sense for them to have the pirate factions like Oberan Confederation rather then the Word of Blake. Word of Blake did nothing more then just plot and scheme at this time. Even being Comstar would be quite boring at this time...all you do is fight the clans at tukayyid.

I mean it would be cool for RPing though, being religious fanatics who dress in robes and are all Sith like, It would be like playing Xenogears (great PS2 game) with the creepy religious references

I mean i guess you can always create a Word of Blake merc corp who is contracted to the Free Worlds League or any other comstar affiliated faction

ComStar allready has "bloodied" troops - mostly at the rim to the Periphery - to protect the "holds" of ComStar.
I'm pretty sure that you have some "Mercs" that are ComGuards in disguise to collect battle experience.

A gang of simulator kids wouldn't have been able to make a stand vs the Clans...not even with all their tricks.

While Word Of Blake as "organisation" isn't in existence (there a splinter groups - like the Toyama) - ComStar is existent in MWO. :D  ..(the real and only reason ClanTech will get a nerf )

if MWO survives that long...the big word is IF...the devs would eventually have to create a comstar faction for the battle of tukayyid. I just don't see how they would implement that battle in MWO community warfare with what they have now.

Oh first they have to add some kind of logistics ... you know clan mechs that run short of ammo - and of course you need depots that can be destroyed.... and last not least for the full Tukayyid experience you need heavy SRM carriers.
(or at least base defense turrets that have SRMs instead of LRMS)

So those abnormal spawn called clans get their logos today - but what is about the true defenders of humanity?

Pseudo religious? If you want Comstar start a Comstar faction. Word of Blake is full on religious nutball mode.

I'll be honest. I'm actually VERY surprised FRR made it into the final game.

I was convinced that it would be the 5 major houses and Comstar.

Seems like that layout would have made more sense to me.

So long as they keep rewinding time; it'll always be in the game!
