Anybody else want to start a Word of Blake faction? Timeline wise, it doesn't work, but hey, what's life in the inner sphere without an order of militant and pseudo-religious crazies?

Any BattleTech books have good Word of Blake stories? I don't know much about the Jihad.

Aye! The only one I've read to date is "Double Blind" but I'm sure there are others. I have them all on PDF. I'll check real quickly and get back to you in a PM.

Well, I'm afraid I won't be looking to start a Word of Blake faction after all, as I was just accepted by Skjaldborg (which I'm actually pretty stoked about). I hope anyone who is interested finds this thread and makes good use of it. Good luck!

Complete story about CASE WHITE:
http://rpg.drivethru...hology-Volume-4

In the Anthology before are some short storys too (last days of Zeta)

Most sourcebooks and rulebooks have short storys too (best of all is still the Eisenjäger)

Oh gosh, I blame it all on the Precentor Marshall. He should have crush WoB with ComGuards and ROM forces, rather than allow the extremism to brew.

I'd rather join the ComGuard, from a pure fluff perspective. Although all the houses are interesting, Comstar pre-jihad is the most nefarious organization in the btech universe (ROM, hoarding technology, deliberately keeping LosTek to themselves, siding with the clans during the initial invasion as a business decision, completely fabricating a religion to keep it's employees in check as well as it's secrets. All the while remaining a neutral party for the most part and attempting to keep up a good PR image.)

And make war with the FWL - i think Frederick Steiner know enough about politics and secession not to make that mistake.

The only mistake the unbelievers did was to kill the 2nd Star League - mabye the admiral on board of the Invincible should have been replaced with a man of less temper.

However Word of Blake won the war - and there best move was to convince the unbelievers that they were beaten.

My suggestion? 1:1 timescale is lame. Have a timeskip after the Clans invasion hype is over with. I don't want to wait 20 years to support the Word of Blake.

A 1:1 timescale would kind of suck. I think the devs already stated that they are willing to play with the timeline so I wouldn't surprised if we see some kind of time jump in the future.

I'm a devout follower of Conrad Toyama's interpritation of the Great Jerome Blake.
There are many other Toyama's in the Free World's League as well.
We have pretty much founded a small Toyama cell within the Free World's League Miltia.
But we're always looking for people who share Conrad Toyama's vision.
