Medium: I've always been partial to the Bushwhacker but apparently they sucked before they were upgraded with clan tech. So, after seeing the Centurion concept art im probably gonna go with that, even if it is a bit slower.

The Bushwacker wasn't too bad, just had a certain niche. My personal favorite variant for it is the BSW-1L: light fusion engine, ER Large Laser and an LBX-AC/20.

Light: COM-2D Commando. Plenty of firepower in a small package, but I'll REALLY have to make my self one hard target to hit.
Medium: DV-6M Dervish. A weapon for every range, good armor and mobility. Uninspired, perhaps, but a good design.
Heavy: WHM-6K Warhammer. A mainstay Heavy Mech. Again, good at all ranges, but the closer you get, the more it can hurt you
Assault: BNC-3S Banshee. Once again, all ranges covered, plenty of armor. Mobility of a brick, but with that much armor...

Having the ARC-5R in would be a dream come true unseen or reseen. It's one of the few that I like both designs.

Currently I'm considering to get me a Jenner and try my luck as Scout. Yah, I know it's a completely ugly little 'Mech, but it has a great speed, decent weapons and armor and Jump Jets for it's class. And gives you a tactical advantage on the field meeting an Atlas: run as hell!

Why not a Locust? those were common enough around this time period.

Black Knight KNT-9 With the Hatchet and JJ's.
Why? Because no one expects the Black Knight! And even if all I have left is a head, "I'll bite your bloody legs off!"
