Right now I have DX11 on my computer, however in the options menu, I can't switch to DX11 as the option box is greyed out.

DX11 is not yet available. We hope before full release at september.

Yeah, just like the Clans and CW - be a lil' patient...since Spring 2013.

Phase 1 of Community Warfare is right around the corner along with 12v12, and UI 2.0.

Clans probably won't be until sometime next year. But there Is tons of content coming before that. Lots to enjoy in the meantime!

Also, since when isspring to summer of 2013 "patience"? Most of us have been waiting without a Mechwarrior game of any kind for about ten years.

That's great, more sarcasm and bashing (just what we need more of) when we also have test servers to play with a little more 'patience', also we'll have the option to voice our opinion(s) before future patches are released to the masses. If you'd like to kickstart and create a development company so you can do everything right where everyone else does so much wrong there's certainly nothing stopping you. Gogo Steam Greenlight!

Haha! I hear ya m8 but in my case I had to ditch my CPU | GPU drivers and LucidLogix because MW:O doesn't like when I have it paired with an eVGA GTX 670 FTW Edition, but I'll take simply using the card vs the Intel HD4000, rr.

No need to be like this. I ran into this issue on one of my machines as well, it took me less than 5 minutes to get it sorted. That's from identifying the issue, all the way through finding a solution and finally playing a round. Five minutes. Besides, it seems that was entirely due to different companies, did you log on to their message boards and say the same thing?

On topic, I'm looking forward to DX11 as well, hopefully it will help shift the bottleneck on one of my machines from the CPU to the GPU Hopefully we'll get a chance to test it this month.

Look guys I know this is an old post but I am having trouble switching from DX9-11 without being able to run DX11 I cannot play the game properly. Is anyone else having these old problems crop up again?

If you can't play in DX9 then you have bigger programs than not being able to use DX11. What isn't working?

You do not use Win XP or Vista?

Win XP is Dx9 and Vista is Dx10 - Win7 and Win8.1 are Dx11 - Win10 will be Dx12.

known bug, NOT showing the change to dx11 in options... you switch it to dx11 you are running it, even if you can't see it... also have you tried the 64bit client as well?

no idea all i can say is my game lags unless I run DX11. I was able to play before they released CW than the update after that seemed to screw my game on me

okay so as long as i select it to run DX11 and I go back into the settings and it says it is still only using DX9 that is just a bug?
