So let me get this straght ...and i know this has beeeen gone over.... but people are going to buy the founders pack on the 19 in like 7 days ands then we have to wait until july 17 to even use it. access wont begin when u give them money but later ..... a month later ? Or as soon as u BUY the pack u can then download and start the game

No, we're going to buy the Founder's Pack on the 19th in like 7 days and then wait until July 17th to use it.

Okay thanks i didnt noticed i switched the dates ...lol...but thats not the point

From what ive gathered the current form of beta will end sometime before july 17th in a wipe.

Then whatever starts on the 17th will be the 'real deal'. all founders get access, maybe current beta testers as well. It may be a few days of exclusive/early access or something for those groups, i dont know. But there will probably be a 'soft' open beta (no wipes but not technically release) at that point if this game follows precedent, leading into a release down the line.

It would of course be great if buying the pack gave you a key for the last few weeks of the current beta as well. Maybe they will decide to do that? Please?! ;_;

Well, if you don't want to wait a whole month before you can use the Founder's Pack, the solution is simple:

Buy your Founder's Pack on July 16th.

thats what i was hoping for was some kind of access when u buy the founders pack to use as ancentive to buy early and not later

In all seriousness, the only thing they COULD implement earlier than the 17th is the "Founder's Tags" which will separate mark you in game (and on the forums) as a Founder.

Not sure if they'll change the member's titles, or maybe add little Ribbons or Medals under our Avatars, or if they'll differentiate between Elite Founders and Veteran Founders.

We'll see in a week.

Have plenty of time to buy a Founder's Pack, have about a month's worth of extreme anticipation.

Do you not see the features in the Founder's Packs? I merely stated which of those perks could reasonably be implemented before the July 17th access to Closed Beta.

If you don't want any of those perks, just wait for the game to go Gold and play it for free.

Damn....... either WE wait to buy it or wait to use it i....i hate waiting... it kinda reminds me off a day that comes ones a year and when i was a kid i hated wait for that day too...lol

If you buy the Elite package, you get a Founder's Mech also.

How is this any different than preordering a game? You pay for it in advance and then you get it when it is released.

well u got me there it is just like a preorder i never saw it that way .......but thats all those other games not MW so it dose'nt count i want to play ..lol

That what i was hoping to, since I have had any luck getting into beta, was hoping if I bought a founder I would at least get into beta before the founder went live just so I could get a chance to play with the different chassis so I know which founder mech I want. the only incentive to buy early would be that. I could just wait to the day before founder become active and then buy it would get in the same time either way.

Need more info on how this works have to decide what to do got 2 sticks of 1 gb ddr ram to replace that going to be $60 dollars if I replace them with 2 gb sticks. If I don;t get access earlier than July then might go far it if I can access it earlier will wait on ram.
