Hallo Mechkrieger,
ich bin ein überzeugter Verfechter der Konföderation Capella und suche noch Gleichgesinnte im deutschsprachigen Raum.

Kurz zu mir:

Ich spiele Battletech seit 1989 und war bei allen namhaften Fanprojekten dabei. Aufzählen möchte ich an dieser Stelle Mechforce Germany (erste), Nice Dice e.V., Lordprotector (alle Zeitschienen).

Natürlich habe ich in dieser Zeit mehrere Chapter geleitet (meistens unter dem Namen McCrimmons Light Cavalry).

Ich besitze ca. 200 Zinnmechs, wobei sehr viele Unseens dabei sind.

Weiterhin habe ich 10 Jahre lang den SchwabenCon in der Jugendherberge Aalen organisiert.

Als es das PBEM-Spiel "Mechwars" noch gab, war ich Maximilian Liao.

Still I have organized the SchwabenCon at the youth hostel Aalen for 10 years. Thatd be a German Gaming con at the youth Hostel in Aalen I believe not sure where the eels come in

Deutscher Cappelaner hier!
Angefangen habe ich mit Battletech 1996, bin 2000 in die NiceDice e.V. eingetreten und als Gründungsmitglied der Mechworld bis heute dort. Ich bin dort "der" Capellaner.

Seit 2006 organisiere ich das Bremer Gardemanöver mit, bisher ein Battletech-Szenario-Con, welches 2012 aufgrund wirtschaftlicher Zwänge komplett reformiert wird und allen Tabletop-Systemen offen steht.

Mechwarrior PC-Spiele habe ich angefangen zu spielen mit MW2 Mercs, dann Ghostbear Legacy, gefolgt vom ganzen Rest inklusive der MPBT3025 Beta im Jahr 2001.



Now for the biggest part of the forum the same in english:
German Capellan here! I began with Battletech in 1996, entered the NiceDice e.V. in 2000 and I am a founding member of the Mechworld in wich I play ever since.There I'm "the" Capellan!

Since 2006 I am co-organizer of the Bremer Gardemanöver, till now a pure Battletech-Con, but will be restartet in fall 2012 due to economical reasons and then be open to all tabletop systems.

I have started playing Mechwarrior PC-Games with MW2 Mercs, then Ghostbear Legacy, followed by all the rest, including the MPBT3025 Beta in 2001.


And as an Answer to Grayson Pride
Steiner isn't the house for honorable Pilots. It's the house for those who believe that bigger is better. A lot of Germans may agree that a Zeus is a good scout mech. Some disagree with that and of those a few of us are insane enough to be capellan. And in most of those few cases, insanity and genius come together.

auch ich bin Capellaner seit Anfang/Mitte der 90er und werde wohl auch hier für Liao kämpfen. Hoffentlich mischen meine Brüder auch mit, obwohl ich da noch (viel) Überzeugungsarbeit leisten muss, da die Zwei bislang eher Steiner und Kurita zugewandt waren. Das Tabletop spiele ich auch schon so lange aber eher nur sporadisch mit meinen Brüdern und die letzten Jahre leider fast gar nicht mehr.

Ich hoffe das Battletech durch dieses Spiel endlich mal wieder ein wenig Aufwind bekommt. Obwohl mir ein Spiel um 3025 herum mehr zugesagt hätte.

btw - i'm german, had read most of the classic battletech novels, beginn play online with MW3 in the year 1999, later MW4 + MW4Merc + MegaMek ^^, before MW2 and MW2Merc, had long time not played MW and will now view what come, my old onlineunit was the ... show the icon about =)

Your English is a thousandfold better than my German. If I could find a cyrillic keyboard I could do russian if yer more comfortable If not I can transliterate it but thats usually clunky We have a bunch a people though that can figure out your meaning in whatever language ya want so feel free to post with no concerns.
