Going to start out with keyboard and razor naga mmo mouse to see how that handles. But for MW4 i was a joystick fan. But no one can say for sure what will be best till the NDA is lifted

I'm a mouse an keyboard player myself. But thats not to say I wont use a joystick. I have one around here somewhere, it was nice when I got it 7ish years ago. I have an old Sidewinder pro around somewhere also. But from playing FPS games for years Mouse an keyboard are what I know.

ch pro throttle, pro pedals, flightstick pro. all controlled by ch control manager . pedals for torso twist. throttle for jump, heat ,comands movement controls etc. joy stick is all smash pound shoot explode fire groups, as these 3 have been movwed all over the world during my army time they still work extremly well

Fast and hot.
Oh, you meant control style...
When I was at the peak of my game, in Mechwarrior 3, I used a Sidewinder in my right and a mouse/keyboard in my left. Ambidexterity!
When I played MW4 Mercs, I was relegated to keyboard and mouse, but never found a good control scheme.
Right now, I'm using a Saitek Fly 5 Cyborg, largely due to how small it folds up and how compact it can get.

Gonna try using my Razer hydra when I get a good config sorted. A lot more fun and involved using it but not a fast as using Tarantula/Mamba combo.

A great joystick, right hand.
Left hand on my steel series merc keyboard, it has a side for gaming and it's perfect if you game plus do other things with computer. Actually I fully believe with some skill, the keyboard would allow this game to be played with one hand.
But add a joystick for torso twist and quicker aiming while the other hand deals with weapons, heat sink, map etc.

Old school . a keyboard and mouse worked just fine for me with MW1 on up. I see no reason to change now.

See, I love the mouse and keyboard. They work great. I just think that if mechs were real you wouldn't see a mouse because of the shocks and jolts. That thing would fly all over the place. I'm not as good with a joystick, but it gives me more of that simulator feel. Maybe I could see a mech using a trackball...

You want to know what is the mother of all joysticks?
http://www.cyborggam...rod/v5stick.htm This is the F.L.Y. v5 (the v6 is available as well).
This, ladies and gentlemen is a real joystick.
