I would love to be able to shoot and step on cars, trucks, ground troops or civilians running around at the sight of my 'Mech. It would help with the immersion and give a better sense of how big the 'Mechs are. The same goes for helicopters and planes flying around.

Eventually they could even be part of a new game mode where they actually try to attack you and could actually do minimal damage to you.

Ground soldiers with inferno rockets anyone?

They can't even deliver a new UI system on time, and you are talking about AI vehicles...

Not asking; suggesting. Just like any other suggestion in this forum, PGI can put that on its already huge list of "nice to have" features that they can work on whenever they catch up on their backlog of planned features. This forum is there to give them inspiration and ideas on either new features, or modifications to current features.

Nice whine. you want some cheese with that?

I think little people and tanks defending bases would help sense of scale and immersion TONS.

hopefully something we will see in the new year :D

I would love to see this in game.

We need more features that show the size of the Mechs we are piloting, otherwise it might just be any FPS.

as ranty as it sounds, this is unfortunately so true.
i voted and i would love to see all the things the op suggests, but as things are with pgi, it would almost be next to impossible.

As much as the idea is great, and I'd love to see it alongside some type of 'war' mode where you work with conventional forces against other conventional forces... do you guys reaaaally know much about how a video game is developed? That's a game in itself. Unless they worked with a very abstract system, I don't see PGI, whom haven't revealed ANYTHING on CW yet, working on such a feature.

Certainly would provide a welcome immersion break from mindlessly blasting other 'Mechs.

basically, yes, good suggestion (although not very new ^^) ... but as mentioned already: i guess that´s expecting a little too much from PGI
