It's okay, but rather thin to my tastes. I'd rather have a nice stout or IPA.

If I really needed something alcoholic and Japanese, I'd get a bottle of sake - tastes better, more alcohol, and keeps money out of Anheuser-Busch's pockets.

You're absolutely right. It's a good thing we've got discussions on mead (in the FRR forums) and scotch (in the off topic forum) to help balance things out.

Kirin = Best of the big three J beers (and I went there on my honeymoon). Though I will say that the best beer I had in Japan was called Suntory Malt's... Really good if you aren't someone who favors Hopslam or Guinness style beers.

Not about beer on the internet. Every "conversation" is the same trite bullshit and the fact is that nobody cares about your choice of beer. Plus, inevitably you end up with the "lol ur beer is **** water herp derp i only drink real beer <crappy beer nobody's heard of>".
