I really enjoy the Jester. Jumping in a K2 is quite fun. That and with the right engine it can really fly.

Well, I haven't seen any really strong build for Jester(probably because it doesn't has any ballistic hardpoints), but if you are not obsessed with "Pwning" builds, you can have plenty of fun with it. I would advice 2LL+4ML or 2PPC+4ML for this fella :)

I'm running 2PPCs and 4MPLs. I like it a lot. Like you said not really a pwning build but its more like a scalpel than a hammer. That and the jumpjets with the high weapon hardpoints make it easy to shoot over teammates keeping you relatively safe

Well, this far it makes sense only as the light hunter. SRM hitreg fix would make this little fella big pain in the heavier mechs RT, if you ask me :rolleyes:

It is cool, but I would prefer something with more moon landscape, not only this giant hyper impulse generator.

I really want to but, I just want to see something concrete as far as actual gameplay goes (I.E. at least a taste of CW) before I dump yet more money into this game. At least they finally released a straight-up brawl mode. :P

Skirmish is boring as watching the paint dry. Taking anything but Assault mech in it is like claiming that you want your team to loose. Not to mention "awesome" mini games like wait for the enemy team behind the corner for 10 minutes, find the last cowardly light hiding and go out to the enemy team one at the time(my favorite).
Gosh, this game mode is the main reason why I'm leveling the Victors.

Officially in love with the Firestarter.... oh and that UI 2.0 thing is there now too... Looks nice, but bugs are crippling and a few essentials are missing.

Nice to see some pulse laser love, one more step towards actual viability. It is a straight buff to my jester build though, which is nice.

PL buffs seem like PGI actually starting care about the balance(yes, this is a tiny step, but this is step in a right direction), not to mention strip mech buttons community desired so much.
And don't forget that this is the first time when PGI released 2 mechs in one month Posted Image
