Looks fine to me.

Of course, it'll die horribly if it gets close to any other mech, but it'll hurt while it does.

I have a similar build with ppc, its pretty awesome.

if your good enough with a jagger you can do a TON of damage with one.
scored 936 once with mine, really made peoples heads turn. LOL :D

I once turned a corner in my Highlander to face a group of these Jagers, obviously coordinated friends. They chewed me up and spit me out in seconds. I don't know how consistent this is though... its more of a joke build. Great when you catch people by surprise.

This is an extraordinarily effective build at close range. I run something slightly different. 2LB10Xs, 4MGs, 2ML. I once ran with a four-man HHoD lance with three of my build and one of yours. We bottlenecked an enemy team on Terra Therma as they tried to enter the caldera and cut down every enemy that dared show their faces. Even assault mechs simply melted away.

You can strip some more leg armor and do something like this: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...470d91c909f975f
Or fit a XL 305 engine.

You can also drop a little in cooling eff. and speed for a std engine. JM6-DD

Machine guns have a dps of 1 each. That's legit.

And that's only before you strip off the armor. After you do, you do an average of 1.35 DPS to components, of which 15% is translated to actual damage making the DPS about 1.2 per MG, bringing the total sustained DPS of the build to 11.282 (on average) out of a maximum average DPS of 12.7 while hitting unarmored locations.

I would not want to get caught close to one of those

The original Boxing Jager!!

the DPS it's slighty slower (that's just due Heat dissipation ) but it's a gimmick for 45 secs you'll be pulling a 11'51 dps until you finally overheats (and trust me nothing can survive 45 seconds of beating with that)

If you wanna try any variant of this, always ALWAYS run STD, for some odd reason any mech with 6x MG it's shouting STD STD, yet ppl get [REDACTED] when they notice that after blowing your ST you keeps punching them.

Nothing like a flamer in the face to spoil your aim...

Personally, if you're doing a build like that, why not go all out.
JM6-DD

This build even has weight to spare, plus it's a ****-tonne cheaper. Nothing but brawling for you, little buddy!

Because flamers serve no purpose but to blind the enemy mech, they don't do enough damage to warrant having two, or really even one...except for the blinding thing. Shove a flamer in someone's cockpit and it's like using heat vision on Terra Therma. The ERPPC gives some small degree of multiple ranges, and also is helpful for tearing off chunks of armor so the MGs can do their work.

edit: Also, the idea is to have 6 MGs - not just 4. :D

Works pretty well.
Just keep moving, the DDs extraordinary torsotwist of 110° and the high speed is what makes it usefull.
And if the armor of an enemy is gone, guess what happens, the dps explodes!

And to anger them.. Flamers increase the Rage and hate towrads your mech exponentially..
hell sometimes i wonder how i can drive 8 guys insane to chase me across a whole map in a 5v spider with flamer and tag as weapons.

I tried that build before, never worked out as well as the DPS meter says so, mainly because of the close engagement range required

My DragonSlayer build: It melts faces, doing often 600+dmg rounds in it. Tested the flamers on a mate, its works nice now.. the heat increase is quite good and you are big enough that you can blind most mediums with it. :-)

You could squeeze even more dps out of it with a coolshot.. but i dont use consumables.

This is very effective when you can play it well, it's a great ambusher but not so good in a stand up fight. You have to bide your time and catch people by surprise. Get as much speed as you can into it and twist constantly when you're caught. I've run this and I've run it with PPC's in place of the LPL's.
