It's taller than the Cataphract and nearly as wide! I guess it'll be an easy to hit target.

VERY TALL. Too much, or maybe similar to the Trebuchet but at least without giant hitboxes like TBT's RT. Legs aren't that thick.. mixed feelings, it might be a light poptarter with xl, otherwise probably you'd better go standard.

Why not compare it directly to it's other 55ton cousin, the Kintaro?

Welp. Its elbow looks higher than that of the Awesome, and the top of the mechs seem about equal (dodgy photo angle aside). It's as wide as the Centurion, which is as wide as the Awesome.

So, we've a 55-tonner the EXACT SAME SIZE as an 80-tonner? /golfclap

Disagree, it's not that wide.
The thinness of the SHawk is all that it's got going for it at this point (in terms of hitboxes) :(

Just like all the rest of the mediums it will be a large slow walking bad maneuvering punching bag PGI never listens to reason to make the medium class a viable asset on the battle field. The mech looks good though and that's what counts right? Derp Derp.

PGI office, October 12th:

"Okay people, listen up! I know you've seen all the posts about how the scaling is wrong on many mechs. I've decided that we wont listen to that and wont change a thing. Thanks for your time people, now back to work!"

Looking at the mech I just see a MWO mech there all starting to look alike. One of the appeals of Battletech were all there cool weird looking mechs. MWO mechs are starting to look like canned models. Posted Image

Most numerous chassis in the game: Mediums

Most mechs in the Phoenix pack: Mediums

Biggest potential source of income of PGI, selling: Mediums

Most screwed over chassis in the game due to no drop limits and borked scaling: Mediums

PGI, you're doing it wrong!

Maybe the intention was that since they're such a big part of the phoenix package, they should make sure you got your money's worth?

Pay for a 55 tonner, get a 15 tons added for free.
