Wolf Spiders is not a canon unit name. The Wolf Spider Battalion, or the Wolf Spider Cluster are. We are not trying to be called either in MWO. We are just call the 'Wolf Spiders', as our arachnid namesake, we will hunt our foes down. If the GM's want to challenge our use of the name, which is technically non-canon then we will make our case.

So, if they make it where we have to join a Cannon (robot controlled) Unit, are we tagging ourselves with Wolf Dragoons and rolling [WD][WS]?

Hey guys. Long time fan here, been playing Battletech in all it's realizations since the early 90s as a child. Love the lore and the universe. Read all the books up to the twilight of the clans, but lost interest after FASA tanked. I was always disappointed in the 'arms race' problem of the pc games, and am really looking forward to contributing to a battlefield plan in a light, medium, or heavy mech, not just going for Assaults as soon as possible. I have played every Mechwarrior and Battletech computer game, but have next to no PVP experience.

Hi Longshanks, thanks for contacting us. I've replied to your email with all the details, as well as supplied you with a recruitment form attached to said email. The number one thing we look for is good attitude, and people who want to work as a team. People can always get better at playing, but you can't change someones attitude.

Seems no one likes the Assault mech, i'll take the role when MWO comes out then.

Exactly. It is a canon unit's nickname. Which is what I suggested people do, to counteract the silly rule:

hate is a strong work... i would say prefer lighter mechs lol. I'd drive an Atlas occasionally, but I'll take a lighter mech generally.

I'm sure we all will pilot more than one Battlemech. I'm not a big fan of the Atlas, however, I am a fan of other Assault mechs.
