I'm one of many volunteers for the Intel sponsored LANfest in Dupont, Washington. We just completed a 400 seat LAN on the Intel Site in Dupont. We currently have sponsorship with Blizzard, and Steam for games. We also support the LAN gaming section of PAX (West for us and East for the other team). Since I know that nobody else has contacted you, is it possible that you would be willing to support both the next PAX (usually late August) and the next Intel LANfest (shortly after PAX) with some free tournaments?
I would be more than happy to coordinate the specifics.
Thank you,
Bob Keeney
P.S. Anyone reading this post in the Pacific Northwest please pipe in with your opion/desire of the recommendation.

The game will still be in closed beta by August, but I personally would LOVE to see this game flourish as an E-Sport. Don't know who will be MW:O's professional line up though?
Maybe HOTSHOT Driver? That racist Finn from Finnlandia?

I'm just trying to get a feel for this game as a sponsored event. Having been a volunteer for 8 years, I'm hoping to see MWO as one of the LANfest partners. Currently, we have Blizzard on call for every event with individual (outside the online realms) servers. We've also had events for Rift, SWTOR and LOTR when they first started.
I was just wondering if this game was as exciting to other people as it is to me.
If the developers want to support a LAN party of 400+ then I can talk to the folks to make it happen.
