I have a more appropriate analogy. You had several puppies that you would kick and hit and starve. We relieved you of your abused and sick puppies, and allowed them to grow strong and healthy with care and attention. We merely relieved you of what you proved you did not deserve.

I believe it was capellan guerillas placed there by sun tzu that instigated the rebellions (not exactly spontaneous). Furthermore - I don't remember too many of them running back to the arms of the confederation. Most seemed pretty content being independent.

Sometimes abused animals lash out at the hand that feeds. Cruelty from a former master can leave such lasting scars.

AFAIK it was changed from Katana to Dao sword by Sun-Tzu Liao limself as one of the symbols of his Xin Sheng politics.

Just letting you guys know I'm slightly more active again up in here. Would you guys be interested in following a MechWarrior Online "Let's Play" gameplay-focused video podcast when open beta begins? I'd be exploring almost all facets of the game with the exception of Lone Wolfing (lol), and my friends tell me I have a nice, deep, clear voice....
