PS: 53.4 KPH going to be bad against lights? My Stalker 3F gets 62.9 KPH, and handles light mechs fine...

I smell panic before confirmation. I see a fallency, causing false fear and misconceptions. (AKA: "The King Crab will be better than the Dashi!" Um... not really...)

Also if you put the big ballistic in the arms, you will lack a backup weapon for lasers as most of your laser slots are in the arms and will be consumed by the ballistic.

Further, it's top speed is 48.6, which means 53.4 with speed tweak and no ability to change the engine. Lights = Death.

Uhm, yeah we know the Daishi won't have an ac/20. The Clans don't use outdated tech. They do however have this:

Oh, and it's 8 critical slots and weighs 12 tons. Most Clan weapons are lighter and smaller.

No, it wouldn't. Clans don't use weapons that horrible. No, they would have dual Ultra AC/20's on the arms. Why do 40 damage when you could do 80?

That's basically what I mean, as clans don't have "AC20s" per say... they got UAC20s! That would still be 40 damage, but it'd be 80 damage total in the time an IS dual AC20 spits out 40... (I think we each know what we are talking about though....)

Honestly I'd wait for C-Bills (At current) though if I was working and had some form of income then I might consider purchasing them. However I don't see them doing it with a 40$ Price tag for a set. Look at Omni's, they want 55$ Per Mech so you'd be lucky if they set it at 60$.

I can't say I'd buy them with money for early release, but depending upon how they make the heroes, I'd be real tempted to buy a hero Crab/King Crab to show my support...

(I still have 4 mechbays open and waiting, and another 1-2 mechbays I'm willing to clear out.)

I was wondering the same thing! (To each remark! )

I mean, the King Crab is a design you could just about play stock and be fine with it! (I probably would actually play it stock... I like me LRMs... and the dual AC20s will make anyone who comes to close regret the decision... Stay at range, get in close... Doesn't matter to my beloved King Crab!) Personally... I'd try to see if I could add in more LRMs... Cause I'm just crazy like that...

Could we have met up in SMM? I've been in that for the past three or so Mondays. Otherwise... I don't recall how we met. Did we just do well together in a game? (Maybe we did well together with our light mechs, staying together and just doing what needed to be done without talking? I get a lot of friend requests from people I preform well with in a PUG match... And from SMM.) I've been noticing you around a lot, in game and on the forums.
