Fixed! Forgot that TS is pretty smart software and retains password but doesn't use it if the server does not ask for it.

That's how I tend to play....

Exception: when people like Koniving grab me for a match or two (though in his case it's probably to help drop his Elo so he can play more flexible builds ) I drop the tunes and turn on TS

Could this information or maybe the VOIP server listings in Community HPG be put on or referenced on a "VOIP" or "Comms" page in-game; maybe underneath Tutorial button on the home tab?

Directing the new players to the veterans in the community might help reduce the learning curve and help player retention. I also think it would help create a better community experience.

Hi guys! Old MW3/4/Veng/BK/Mercs/GameZone/ladder-league light/medium pilot new to MWO and trying to learn my way around b4 noobin' up the place, heh! (I do mean old, 58 and still gaming!) Only tried one random battle so far, but I at least managed a kill-assist first time out before getting fragged.

Are voice comms really that important? I have a horrible time with getting TS and others working smoothly and end up spending more time trying to tweak mic/playback/feedback settings instead of playing the game. I noticed that most of the posts here are from years ago...any changes on in-game voice-comms status?

this game seems to have died somewhere between 2014 and 2015 judging by the forum posts.

the devs are still alive because i got a reply on a technical issue a while ago but as far as community goes its kinda d.e.d
i was actually on this public TS server yesterday to see if anything interesting is going on there ... but nothing .. just some random ppl popping into the lobby every once in awhile only to log out straight away again .so i dono

but its getting kinda lame playing a team game without an actual team.. randoms are nothing but sheeple anyways cant play with those folks if one wants to do more than lazor vomit sniper
