Which 280X do you have? I'm kinda looking at them.

How does this apply to the Radeon HD 6800 series? Or does it?

Sapphire Vapor-X R9 280X

You need 2x8pin plugs to power it - dont know if that is a standard.
MWO will make the Vapor-X Cooler work hard!

Good luck finding these things. Seems like everything at and above the 7950 is sold out at any place that has a reasonable price. Although with the recent alt coin price pull back, some people may being trying to dump theirs.

I'm having some issues with Crossfire in MWO - I'm getting flickering and intermittent stutter consistently through my gameplay. I have two HD 6950's, 4th gen i5.

I'm fairly certain that crossfire and sli are not currently supported in this game

Not supported Fully I might add, but Crossfire does work. I've the latest Beta 9.5 and as long as you set a profile up first you can get it to work either as Default or AFR friendly... And if that doesn't agree with your system try Compatible AFR D3D listed under pre-defined profiles.

One of these days it'll all work out dandy I'm sure ---- SOON™

Well this is good to see. I just purchased a new system that will be a far sight better than what I have.

AMD 8320
8 gigs 2133 ram
Radeon R9 280X 3 gig

Should be a great mix for me compared to my 2 year old APU A6 which is technically not able to run the game.
