Cool shot is awesome but 40,000 for Coolshot 9 and discouragement is evident. There has to be a way to promote the purchasing of Coolshot 9. :(

If I'm playing for fun, I don't mind using CBill modules like air/arty strike and cool shot since even if I lose I'm making that money back.

It's all part of PGI's master plan, making all the best modules consumables as an extra tax to the player base.

Buy premium! Give us more money! Muahahahahaha

Haha very true, but you aren't far off yourself.

Personally, they will not be getting another penny from me until we get CW. They can shove those clan mechs where the sun don't shine.

Which is all well and good, but your contention was that selling premium time was somehow nefarious.

Hero Mechs and cockpit items only go so far to sustaining the company, and the mech packs are just infusions to the normal revenue stream. So, they sell premium time and make consumables cost Cbills. Nothing at all wrong with that.

No, that making the one time use c-bill/MC modules the strongest by a mile was nefarious.

I just hope we get some more normal modules to compete and keep things interesting. They wanted it to be end game content and help define mechs roles but they just feel like minuscule upgrades, where as the consumables are all ridiculously good.
