Wouldn't you do the mechs' back (rear view) for the war effort?

Definitely not. That's a lot of work.

lol, not necessary anyway, the game has no concept of back/left/right to keep it simple Posted Image

only thing I would ask is for these guys to keep up the good work, the more mechs the merrier!

If you can reduce its size to the same scale as the other mechs these guys have done I could put it in as an Easter Egg of sorts in PixelMek :)

It doesn't quite match the quality of Alistair's work, and I'm not sure how it would look as a sprite, because of the halo, but I thought I'd have a go. I'm not so great at pixel work.

That's awesome!

It's not animated though, it would be neat to have the shiny glasses animation bit in there too Posted Image

Really need to get off my butt and do some animated gifs one of these days. Something I've been meaning to learn how to do for a while.

Glasses dropping is for plebs.

I'm not liking Photoshop compared to Jasc Animator, I have to say. Back in the day that was the bee's enormous knees for animated thingies.

Thanks for the great work, Alistar Winter!

Painted your Commando in the pixel art app for Windows phone. Unfortunatelly that app has limit of 32*32 pixels, so I had to shorten legs of commando a bit, to fit it into the limits Posted Image And due to that limit I won't be able to paint other mechs I like

Hey now. I used to have one. Was a great phone, actually. Way, way better than my iPhone.

What killed it was the total lack of support from Microsoft for the software and absolute lack of content creators for applications. :\

Thanks for the support, guys! I've been too busy with life to be painting more pixel mechs lately, but I will see if I can find some time to pixel out more of them this christmas, while my family is watching TV and stuff like that.

As somewhat of a completionist, it really bothers me that I never get to finish this project, because PGI is chucking out new mechs every month. And at this point, the number of people who are playing MWO is dwindling fast, so the audience for my art is getting up and leaving the room at an alarming rate as well.

But I'll see if I can finish the ones I've started on, at least.

Well, I liked it a lot and could not imagine using Android again, before MS suckered all owners of older WP smartphones including my lumia 925

Added hunchback, just torso fits :)
