I would love to believe anything said at this point.... I really would.... but the management seems out of touch.

Maybe the management doesn't actually know what's in the game? That's the only conclusion I can think of when Russ ignores the missing Phoenix badges and the unimplemented loyalty points. Or maybe it's just cognitive dissonance to prevent him from thinking himself dishonest?

What assurances to be have that clans won't turn out the same way as phoenix with targeting computer being another command console? In the game for what.... 15 months now with no function?

Seems to me like he totally missed the point of why people are angry. We don't care that the clans are here... we care about the grab deal so close to the last pack of mechs when basic things that have been promised as "right around the corner" multiple times STILL aren't out.

How about you wait to introduce this until UI 2.0 comes out and is good? Or how about until you have all your CW {Scrap} working and ready to go or all the details panned out?

You fix the stuff from this image, and I will MAYBE start to trust you all again:

I just dont have any faith right now.
How about you make strides in game and content before pushing this out the door.
The game is a mess now and balance isnt great so you want to do 1 better?

Start small here.
Fix the grind
Fix the match maker
Solo q

start there please - then move on to CW,Clans,UI 2.0

I dont have any faith or confidence that this will be done right and frankly feel the the golden mechs will be OP and Pay 2 Win.
0 faith=0money.

Some people wanted to know about Clan tech, this covers it.

It also covers some information regarding the Clan sales.

It is not meant to cover Community Warfare, UI 2.0, etc.

Here's a thought
The current weapons and equipment set is unbalanced and some of it is worthless or doesn't work properly
Now your going add clan tech :(

Any ETA on when the command module will do anything or maybe that SRM fix, non useless pulse lasers ?

I'm sorry... but didn't you have an Open Beta period of time which began just before the "Clan Invasion"?

And, let me get this straight....

You are asking $240 for packages, and $500 for gold-plated whale-chariots .... all of which is content you HAVE NOT CLEARLY THOUGHT THROUGH FOR BALANCE AND GAMEPLAY MECHANICS!?

.... My only question is how much you are willing to sell the rights to the MechWarrior trade mark. It is, apparently, wasted on this developer - and I can't very well ask that they share it without getting their due profits.

One of the things that helped the IS againt the clans was double tonnage and physical attacks which the clanners refused to use. So make a MadCat worth 150tons in matchmaking and allow us to kick it to pieces. In that case i would not care for weapons balancing.

Again with the heat scale {Scrap}. Perhaps someone could load the test server with a high dissipation/low cap system, so we can put ghost heat to rest.

Honestly, since there's no way to really balance clans as they're meant to be, It'd be more interesting to simply update IS mechs with the omni-hardpoint functionality, and allow full customization of all mechs. This would introduce balance issues, yes, but only because of the unhealthy attachment to instant, pinpoint convergence at any range and no accuracy penalties for any action, as well as their borked heat system.


Also, since PGI doesn't seem to actually play their own game, the clan mechs are probably going to be under-armoured, with small engines, and most of them are probably going to take FF-armour and not ES-structure.

The best solution, since following canon is not really possible, and is clearly not being done, is to allow full customization of all mechs.

Just a reminder, this is feedback on the Clan Technology - a design Perspective post. Let's please use this thread on feedback regarding the design ideas contained there and use the other Feedback posts for their intended purposes ( I.E. Clan Collections - Feedback )

So lemme get this straight, for a couple years it was a hard rule that tonnage would never be tampered with since it would break stock mechs and your brilliant idea is to up the LRM20's tonnage.Just exactly how much Mercury is in Canada's water?

I like the ideas.

But I'm going to need to see something more substantial before I invest in your company, particularly given your previous failures to keep pace with prior promises made on my previous investments.
