For those interested.

Feel free to post your pics here of your mechs!

1ST TYR REGIMENT - All Tyr Mechs are painted dark blue, regardless of the terrain they fight on.

KungsArmé - a light blue, highlighted with grays and reds.

Some of the Shieldwall stick to a specific color, but we're merc's so we come with many different colors, many of my lance/company's mechs have some sort of pink on them.

I'm rocking dark camo blue, light camo grey, and Phoenix red.

In roughly that order.

I like the bloodstripe effect it has on some of my 'Mechs. On others it just makes it look like I'm Star Captain America Bear, but I can live with that.

Yeah you can get pretty close to the 2nd freemen. The 1st RDR "official" color scheme is camo dark blue, camo light blue, and whatever you want for the third (I think). Its all just blue anyhow.

The coolest one in the old thread IMO was the 3rd drakons flame scheme you can do with Firebrand.

Greetings Shield Brothers -

I present to you, my Drakon Jagermech - This works on the firebrand only. But it looks good IMO - also, the FRR are known Jagermech users.
(The flames are the default color... might make them a bit more red eventually though...)Posted Image
FYI - it is inspired by this camo, posted earlier in the tread: http://camospecs.com...erminator_3.jpg

Black with teal and grey/red highlights is also a cool but not necessarily cannon. Its nice because or canon colors can look very Lyran.

I chose to go with the lighter camo colours. Camo Brown also looks good.

Hello there! I run all my mechs the same, that is Cobalt Blue for base, and the rest Sulphur Yellow. I'm FRR and I'm from Sweden, so I thought it worked well. Just running the deault pattern though. Any suggestions on pattern?

None of the camo patterns are faction specific (at least until Community Warfare comes out) so pick whichever you think looks the best. The FRR doesn't have many specific designs anyway. Woodland and Digital are a good place to start since most units just go with appropriate camouflage.

1st Tyr Regiment looks pretty cool. Sorry I'm on a bit of an art kick and have been painting mechs all day. I ran out of Kurita mechs so...

As an aside the Shadowhawk is also one of the few mechs that the FRR is actually capable of producing, as they have a plant of their own for the Shadowhawk.

My friends and i who run FRR chose to use Basic Blue accents to our otherwise stock color mechs.. we didn't want to spend real money on colors or camo right now. doesn't really scream FRR but it is purchaseable via 1.25mil Cbills, and if all the FRR players chose to adopt it for their 'basic' scheme we can get some recognition going. :P

Modro, and Goluboy, with Goluboy as the Primary and Modro as the other 2.

if you don't want to spend money basic blue with basic red highlights would be the way to go.

It'll work for now, until we have CW going and premade FRR unit schemes are made accessible, though it'll be somewhat awkward to see a ton of 1st Tyr scheme 'mechs running around in the meantime.

It is hard because our regular colors are just light blue. You can also try blue red blue too.
Don't be afraid to do your own thing tho, its part of the game, mechwarriors are supposed to be egomaniacs.

Thinking in terms of Pilot Egomania and fighting in colder climes I went with this scheme.

Egomania? In the FRR? Yeah, that's about right ;)
