Scout Derek is in fact, not a scout, but a medic.

For the time being he still has his medical license.

Sizzles insists on using his flamers on his teammates "to check if they are secretly spies". So far, he claims he has been right every time.

Ah, but what nobody else knows is that Sparks Murphy lights those Flamers! When he concentrates really hard, Sparks can make sparks shoot out his ears and ignite the propane Sizzles releases from those Flamers!

...After all, Sizzles and Sparks go together hand in hand! You should see them at a BBQ!

Nightmare would know. Every time we get planet side he brings Sparks and I any large and meaty fauna he can find, and asks us "Can you BBQ this?"

While we do enjoy the challenges, it does get rather annoying when he consistently brings us the largest living . . . thing . . . he can find.

Last time he managed to fish up some kind of whale thing. It was half the size of the freaking dropship.

Aaaaand we are still eating those leftovers . . .

Sizzles used to frequent horse races, and would dine on the best of them. Some stipulate he's the reason they are extinct, and the Eridani Light Horse Brigade has a grudge with him, since he made their name confusing to anyone born after horses went extinct, ALLEGEDLY by his appetite.

Xyphr stole my super secret Caramel Flan recipe.

He just had to know what the special sauce was.

Sizzles doesn't actually know how to cook, much less what Caramel Flan is. He thinks that by joining together a bunch of food buzz words and making outrageous and dramatic accusations, he will garner the attention of the hosts for Top Chef, Iron Chef, Chef Wars, Drama Chef, Chef-Boy-Howdee, Too Much Chef, and TitaniChef and land a spot on one of the programs. Once there, he plans to wave at the camera and say, "Hi Mom!" before using his sizzling Firestarter BattleMech to extinguish the competition and take home the prize by default as the only living contestant.

60% of the time, Nightmares ideas work every time.

Murdering everyone on a cooking show via 'Mech while said event was being broadcast to dozens of worlds . . . was not one of those ideas.

Sizzles forgets that TV is the king of entertainment and that such antics from him would most likely garner the highest ratings for whichever network hosts the episode!

Nightmare once wondered "How many backs could a Hunchback hunch, if a Hunchback could hunch backs?"

After several minutes of pondering, he realized that he was not properly equipped to answer this question. So he gathered a board of the finest scientists that House Liao had to offer.

After many grueling months of testing, they had come up with an answer. The Hunchback itself cannot hunch backs, but its AC/20 can.

They discovered this by conducting numerous tests on willing Capellan citizens. They would fuse a heavy machine gun to their right shoulder, and observe them as they went about their day. Over time, the weight of the weapon would cause them to develop a hunched posture.

The Maskirovka was so pleased with this discovery, and its use of resources, that they executed everyone involved . . . Except Nightmare . . . because Maskirovka.

Sizzles has a very abstract imagination that, when coupled with his tenuous grasp on reality, often sends him to his happy place where he dreams up strange histories and alternate realities for his friends.

Realizing this, Sigmund Freud once tried to pierce the veil of Sizzles' mind for a peek into his psyche; but the strain proved too much for Freud, broke his fragile mind, and forced the Illuminate to eliminate him. This resulted in one of the greatest international governmental cover-ups in the history of planet earth and a high demand for Sizzles in certain black ops mentalist circles.

Despite all this, Sizzles still does not comprehend the role he plays in shaping world events. He's just happy to get the free chocolate bars that the nice men in black give him after each session.

On some worlds, it is considered a rare treat to see Nightmare1 riding a light 'Mech across a field. He doesn't pilot them, he rides them, standing on top and waving his propellor hat wildly in the breeze as they try to throw him off. To ensure an extra exciting ride, he has welded the targeting array from a pair of Streak launchers to his boots, constantly terrifying the real pilot. Most days, it's a Locust or Commando, but if he's feeling a little under the weather, he'll ride a Jenner instead. The only time he rode an UrbanMech, he was pelted with so many rotten tomatoes that the poor 'Mech seized up under the barrage.

Marack Drock has created a Beer called Dry Drock which people have described as being as harsh and nutty in flavour.

Bespoke Cheese Cake is not a cake, but rather, a sentient twinkie who wished to be something more...

So now he is a mech piloting cheese cake.
