If I understand the challenge correctly, It's a match where 4 people, drop in a battle, against anybody... you do this 10 times, and record your match scores, since we don't need to sinc drop or meet at any specific time, I don't see it interfeering with the Blue vengence tournament. my fears were it was going to take a lot of time.

I now don't think it will, so I see no disadvantage to putting in at least one lance's worth of combat. I'm worried though, will they have to put a cap on how many of us give them scores?

I think the idea is just to bring as many steiner and frr lances on the servers as possible. If there are enough lances participating it would be nevitable that we would fight each other in the PUGs.

There is no limit to the number of lances dropping in the tournament on either side.

Before I can get a number of lances the blue vengeance would bring I would need to have a date for it.
I suppose a sunday would be managable for the most people. And it wouldn´t conflicht with the Viking tournament.

Klappspaten I have also put this discussion up in the Allthing so that we can get all the units opinions on when we should do this. One thing we may do is make this a two parter, this would split it into EU lances would compete earlier that day then NA lances later in the day resulting in two separate events or we could combine these scores to have one unified event but these are decisions to be made by a vote as I want to make this as unanimous a decision as possible. This also allows each unit to send representatives in. This could be discussed either on here, or I could make an Allthing Channel to decide events like this on the FRR TeamSpeak Hub until we find another way of doing this.

If we get all the unit leaders together on the Hub I would prefer to do it on there.
I think at first we should figure out which units are interested in participating.

I personally would like to do this in one big thing. It would be great to swarm the servers with lots and lots of space vikings who kill everything they get their crosshairs on. ;)

I now have a channel on the hub and fluffypinkbunny is working on the forum at the moment. I am working on getting ahold of all the unit leads so that we can begin on this decision.

@Peiper

Do all the scores have to be submitted on the same day?
suggestion for team score submissions, for "proof" of date/time have the screen shot taker, type in a date/time in the lance text, just before they take the screen shot, so each shot will have a date/time stamp.

As far as I understand this is supposed to go down in a specified period of about 2 1/2 hours with all lances online simultaneous

Yes it is POSSIBLE to run it over a period of time, I'm not going to advocate such a move.

As far as screenshots, they do have a timestamp on the file of when they were created, which is good enough. Screenshots can help prove stuff if there's any unusual scores that the scorekeepers want proven. When we finalize event plans, the scorekeepers can meet and discuss this.

Seems the actual fighting will be no more than 2.5 hours, 10 drops.
The tabulation of scores will take longer but require only a couple peoples time.
Each lance should designate one person to submit the ss's
IF we have NA and EUP we could have a winner for NA and EUP as well as an overall winner.

I think both of our factions are well represented in both areas.

By the way. Which meassurement do we take to tell if a lance had a good match or not?
I think Kills, Assists, Damage and Matchscore on their own aren´t really objective.

Now that the BV tournament is over, we should pick a day to do this.

While I'd be happy to set up a separate event, we have also invited you to the Clan Invasion event which is run very similar to what we had in mind for the Steiner vs. FRR event. Whether you choose to participate in the event on the 22nd, we can also set up another for a different date for just the Steiner HUB vs. the FRR HUB. I think there would be plenty of interest with our guys to restart this effort.
