Holy **** how do you sell a mech now?

If I had to guess, go to "home", then select "inventory", followed by "battlemechs". I know you can sell weapons through the inventory, but I have yet to check and see if battlemechs are sold through the same way.

Now click on the battlemech you want to sell. It gives you details and a sell button.

Yeah, as Koniving showed it. Took me a whole to figure that out since I had just enough MC for an Ember but not a mech bay with it. Sorry Spider 5K, the times were good while they lasted.

Because forced window was terrible and I hated it, that's why. The game is easy enough to alt-tab out of and doesn't cause some fancy "oh noes, we can't have you run your game in the background" bullshit. It was welcome and much-needed change.

The problem is not with forced windows or anything alike, but with the UI failing to let the user perform the simplest tasks in an easily understandable way. I just came here after wasting loads of time while searching for the "sell your mech" option and not finding it.

You can sell items on the Inventory tab (left bar). Select the Battlemechs category, select the mech, then click the button. Note that you probably want to keep the items, e.g. weapons and engine, to reuse them in future builds.

Thanks thread, after taking a hiatus from MWO and coming back this week, I couldn't figure this out either. I also can't figure out how to buy mechs with C-Bills now since there's only a button for MC, but that's another problem. Old UI was a lot more user-friendly. Sorry if necro.

Yeah, UI 2.0, its not at all User friendly...

Its not like in the mechbay we can filter the mechs properly, nor maintain and sell our mechs and weaponry. Or sort through our modules and stored weapons.

its not like we can swap to another mech to modify it without 5 extra clicks here and there....

What if you have a specialty mech that is no longer purchaseable in the game? I own 3 mechs but am only able to sell 2 of them I have a CN9-AH(L)-Centurion that is no longer listed in the store and doesn't show up in my inventory, but I can play it. I have no idea where I got it. I know I probably did something to get the mech back when I first played a few years ago.

The Centurion AH(L) was a loyalty reward mech, granted to players that purchased MC within a particular period of time.
