Clan Hardpoints Posted, Err In Timber Wolf?

They posted hardpoints and prime configs for the upcoming clan mechs! Maybe some of you can correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the Timber Wolf had two machine guns, one in each side torso, and the med pulse laser in the CT. They have one machine gun in the CT and a med pulse laser in one of the side torsos? Typo maybe?

In any case, I don't want to wait another 4+ months...

They probably had to nerf it due to them changing the weights of Clan weapons from canon. Look forward to many other Clan mechs not having canon loadouts.

That's silly... I personally was gonna drop the MPL for another heat sink anyway. I think making the Clan LRMs into a non-arcing long range missile that can't be used to hit someone on the other side of a mountain that you can only get a lock on because your buddy has LoS would have been nerfing enough...

As a matter of fact though unless I'm mistaken, the other ones are accurate.

Strangely enough, the Timberwolf Prime actually has 1 MG in the CT and the other MG in the RT.

This is from the 3050 readout:

Ah if one of the ballistics is in the center that probably prevents a dual UAC/5 build. Bummer...

Hmm looks like they made a weird error in the Weapons & Equipment section, for RT is says 1 Ballistic, 1 Missile, but it should say: "Machine gun, LRM20" to fit with how the other mechs show the weapons.

And in hardpoints section it says 1 Energy 1 Missile... should be 1 Ballistic, 1 Missile

And did they really increase the weight of CLRM20s and dropped a CLRM20 AND a machine gun?

Hardpoints? Do you mean OmniPods? :P

The Timberwolf is not JJ capable. Only Aidan Pryde's custom one was.

EDIT 2: Please, can someone who has the 3050 TRO chech if one of the others Timberwolf variants have ballistic weapons in the arms maybe? Something able to mount at least two light UACs?

What is the sense of ONE machine gun and ONE LRM20? :angry:

EDIT 3: i am curious about what are they going to do with the Targeting Computer..

They also nerfed the Direwolf's speed..46 instead of 54..

And the Summoner's speed, 81 from 86! The Summoner should rely on its superior mobility! :blink:

And the Nova's speed, 81 from 86! My purist soul is starting screaming :ph34r:

Yeah they said things like heat sinks and jump jets would come with the individual pods that have them, and that you can't reduce heat sinks beyond what it has (but can add heat sinks). Gotta read the whole post:

In TT if JJ can be added to one, they can be added to all. (Timber Wolf S has JJ.)

I was afraid they gonna make missile racks as torsos hitboxes, lazy pgi ducks. Can't believe I'm probably gonna waste 55 dollars on it.
After a godawful matches I had today after 3 months break, mechlab 2.0 is a ducking nightmare, 100 mouse clicks to put engine from 1 mech to another, hit detection is terrible, 5 minutes to start a match to lose in r3tarded team that can't make more than 50 damage each...

Awesome days of closed beta are long gone, game is becoming worse and worse, how's that even possible, I'm coming back each 3 months and get feces thrown in my face for the last 1.5 years. Unbelievable.

Yeah guys I think its safe to say that the Timber Wolf specs are in error.. we can just let them work that out. I'm certain they did not give the timber wolf one LRM 20. Given that the rest have accurate loadouts, except for the speeds I guess, I think we can assume that the Timber Wolf will have its correct loadout. And besides, 81 kph in a heavy is pretty mobile... after tweak will be 89 kph..

Looks like an error to me, not the first time something has gotten past proof reading with egregious errors in it.

Personally, I'm much more interested in the Masakari and Puma's Targeting Computers. Very curious to see how those would be implemented in game.

I think they did this for IS mechs too. On sarna the dragon goes 86.4 with a std 300, in game it only goes 81.

Maybe it will tell you where to aim your PPC's at a moving target
