Ok - been playing for a couple of months and decided I should stop pugging about. So I took the plunge, got on Teamspeak, signed up for house Marik and introduced myself to Payne111 and R5D4. They were extremely helpful and patiently talked me through getting grouped up and started. We then proceeded to kick butt pretty effectively - though I need to memorize my NATO alphabet.

Result - huge increase in fun, effectiveness and profitability.

Conclusion, should have joined House Marik weeks ago.

Not a Marik but i will post here all the same, cuz Davion does what it wants!

Anyways, good to see you joining up on a TS server and killing things and not crying on the forums about how pre-mades are ruining the game! Keep playing with folks who have the same mindset as you and continue to kick butt. Hopefully you will see me on the battlefield and we can have a good match, even if its against each other!

whats the etiquete with the TS server, do i just jump into a channel or use the LFG Lobby and wait?

"Looking for game" can get attention, but many people could be in matches and may not check who is on TS often, so your best bet is to go into one of the general bays that has 3 or less people in it and ask if they need another pilot. Do not be shy right now all house units are recruiting, express your interest get to know people from different units to see which group would be a best fit for you. Feel free to ask questions, though remember are in a drop thy might be a little busy to respond right away. I can answer some questions so feel free to add me in game or message me on teamspeak.

Jump right in! Every new recruit should be welcomed in any bay!

Here is the etiquette within FWLM TS server:
1) Jump into any channel. Everybody loves talking to new people, regardless of full drop bays
2) Don't bring the drama. Everybody is here to a) stomp robots and make friends. Anything outside of those two have another agenda.
