still can't subscribe through that stupid ultimatepay microsite. again, for players outside of US and Europe UltimatePay is just a joke. can somebody, for the love of god, get the Mechwarrior team another alternate paysite so i can give them $120.

the only help i get from UltimatePay is that they are having "problems" and i should try again in 24 hours. this happens everyday since the founders program was released. i got the same thing from them when i started WOT and now, guess what, WOT don't use them any longer because they are terrible.

i have tried paypal option, cc option and cc option via paypal....nada.

So I read that after getting the founders package that there is access to the closed beta... I see posts about keys being passed out on a limited basis over the last little while and also that on August 7th founders get early game access but I wonder if there is a chance that I will be given beta access before the August 7th date based solely on the fact that I purchased the founder pack, or is it just a possibility based on random selection?

I definitely dig the 3025 look of the Founders 'Mechs... I think I might just have to get them all!

But... does anyone know if I can change computers/internet after buying it and still make use of it all? Or is it glued to the system we buy it on? (Yeah... no claims to computer genius here...). :-)

Gona wait till I see the game first. Last time I spend $80 on HotU preorder, and I end up asking for my money back because the upgrade sucked in beta testing.

Trying to pay for this since release guys.. can we just pay you directly somehow? This ultimate fail thing is ridiculous and looks and feels like a scam site tbh. Their support staff spew out pre-written, generalised responses that offer no support or solutions, and the sum of it all is that they're making YOU look bad. Please kick them where it counts or find another payment gateway/merchant.

I tried finding this info but so far haven't had any luck. Not even sure if this is the right place to ask, but it seems to be a decent place to ask at least. Here goes:

1). When Mechwarrior Online goes live to Founders' Program members it will be, as I understand it, in the open beta phase. Is this correct?

2). If yes, and we're playing in the open beta phase (traditionally meaning nothing's yet set in concrete and much of the game is still open to serious changes), isn't it unwise to allow us to use our $80 worth of in-game credit and/or our premium account time while still in open beta, since what's to stop us losing out big-time if something's changed drastically?

3). When does our 1-/2-/3-month premium account period start if we buy the Veteran/Elite/Legendary Founders' Program? On the 7th of August no matter what? The first time we log into MWO? Or when we choose to kick-start it? I (and I'm sure I'm not alone) probably can't make good use of the premium account time at the time of release, and would rather hold off on using it for a better time. But if I don't have that option then the Founders' package becomes much less appealing for me.


If anyone can answer these questions with informed answers, I'd appreciate it. I may just have found a timely replacement for World of Tanks (they sure did take the low road ), and at this stage I'm at about 80% likely to jump into MWO head first with $120 stuck to my helmet.
