Hi all,

I've been playing MWO for almost a year now, and I'm starting to be able to play it more often than before so I'm starting to not suck. So I'm interested in finding a unit to play with so that I know some people in the game and can have a little more fun.

I'm not on day in and day out, but I try and play several times a week and on weekends. I'm a North American timezone, if that matters.

Thanks!
~mdm

I will take it that since you are asking here, you are looking for a Kurita unit. We are a fairly new DCMS unit looking for recruits to help fill the ranks. We have a regimental reserve for the more casual players, so if you can't be active all the time, you will always have a home with us.

Check out our recruitment thread in the section above, or feel free to stop by our website at http://BuckminsterGuards.org. Also, you can always stop by our TS at buckminsterguards.cwvoice.com.

And they're good people, even if they do regularly work with Corsairs.

I'm late to reply but just to toss one more out, especially in case any other curious Kurita pilots search the thread:

Our teamspeak is open and everyone is welcome, and always looking for more pilots.

Ohayo, busosenshi.

I would recommend, rather than picking the first unit that happened to respond, perhaps join the united House Kurita Teamspeak server and drop with any that has interest in taking you in? Sample their atmosphere, and experience multiple environments before you decide which unit is best suited for you. That is, of course, unless you may have already decided based on other factors, such as its background or organization.

Just to pitch in my $0.02:

You can't go wrong with any of the Kurita units in my opinion - they are all full of great pilots who are fun to hang out with.

That said, mdm, feel free to check out the Arkab Legions: www.arkablegions.com

TeamSpeak server info: ts3.arkablegions.com (no password)

Our server is open to any DCMS pilots, so even if you choose to join another DCMS unit, feel free to stop on by and do some drops with us.

Cheers!

During the Fourth Succession War, the 3rd Benjamin Regulars was assigned with the the Sixth Benjamin Regulars and twenty infantry and tank regiments to attack the 1st Chisholm's Raiders RCT on Deshler. While the Raiders consistently outmaneuvered the invaders, the Kurita taskforce had superior numbers and slowly but progressively wore the Davion unit down. When the Combine offensive swept past Deshler the AFFS attempted to pull their unit out, but the Chisholm Raiders chose to stay and fight, tying up the Combine units for months before being effectively destroyed.
3rd Benjamin Regulars. Victories on planets Mara, Galtor III, and Deshler against the Federated Suns. Gettin' it done! Would you like to know more?
