Honestly, i'm a bit dissapointed. The Premium benefits counts are started in the open beta? So i'm bought an Elite pack, get 2 month of premium - in the Open Beta?! Okay guys, you wan't to take out of our money with this game, i can understand it, but this is a bit unfair, don't you think? Okay, i hate to compare the MWO to the WoT all over the time, but in the WoT open beta, everyone get daily 150 gold as i remember, and can buy the premium, can try it, how it's work, and so on. No real money take happens. When the game released, wipe occur, and the harvesting begin.

In the MWO, as i see, we are still just testing the game, our premium accounts begin to counted (and expired), and no wipe happens when the game officialy released...

But then what is this? We are payed earlier, to give money and show respect, and get exchange to our money counted and used in the open beta phase? Just me find this a bit strange?

Since the progress isn't wiped after the beta ends, does it really matter? You're already getting the premium account at a much lower price than what you can get post-launch. Open beta will already be pretty much as functional as the "launch version" anyway.

One question I've seen that I'd like to make a suggestion on ... gifting a founder's package to someone. If you want to work in tandem with the person that you want to gift the package to, once they login with their info they can go to purchase the package, then for the billing info put your info in (including cc or paypal info when asked for it). For security's sake though I would not give that person any of your account information, so the way I'm suggesting this is that both persons be at the same computer when doing this.

It's just a thought.

Will you be doing regional distribution sell off or will you have global servers open to all and slowly increasing server and datacentre locals to accommodate more regional requirements, fast ping and less latency etc. There are few companies which maintain the Licence globally and instead sell of the rights for local regional territories to host and sell/promote the IP in the local region. If you are planning regional server hubs will these be intergrated into the main hub in the USA or will there be clear and definitive seperation of territories?

Yes the hard point are the same. Less unique but this also means that they will take the place of the prime variant in the Mech trees so you will already be on your way with that path.

Also for clarity it is a C-Bill booster not XP

Premium account gives a boost to both but the Mech gives a boost to C-Bills.

Trust me over a lifetime of the product this is a really powerfull thing.

What does less unike mean? meaning there will be a lot of the prime variants in game or that it is some how less unike than the normal prime. (quessing its the first option)

Does the "take the place of" mean that even if I sell the original founders mech for some reason I can just buy it again in the same way that I would buy the prime variant, also, does this mean that I can buy tree of the founders mech(s) and they would all have the c-bill boost?

Just hoping in this post to get all my answers answered at once, if so, then I'm keen as mustard to buy the Veteran founder pack, but anyway, here goes...

Q: About being in Australia, what will the servers/support/everything be like for us Australian folk?... I have absolutely no idea about the strength of the online gaming community or support for this in Australia, which makes it extremely difficult to justify paying $60, when all I really want is a badass Catapult. (I don't even really know how the whole mech-tree / payment thing works anyway, if someone could link me to a clear explanation of that, I'd appreciate it.)

Q: Also, expected system requirements, I don't reeeally wanna fork over $60 and find out my current machine isn't up to the task. That would be awful.

If I could get answers to these before the cutoff for the Founder buys, that'd be great, and probably an easy $60 in your bank.

Sys specs were stated prior to the launch of the founder package sale

Yes that is the other good news that they are the Prime Variants they not only take up that position in the Mech Trees for you to work on but they remain fully customizable in the Mechlab.

At the initial purchase of founders (elite founder), we were asked to choose one of the four mechs. However as the game changes through development pre-launch people may wish to choose a different founder mech. Will there be an option to switch from lets say a catapult to an awesome before launch?

What are the conditions under which an elite founder may change their founder mech? Does the option to change founder mechs expire before public release or at some other time?

I have bought Elite Founders, but due to some recent money hardships brought on the last week or two, is it possible to get a refund or reduction to normal founder? I still plan on playing the game, don't get me wrong, but the money could be better placed because of unforeseen events.

what does in game money mean anyways?, i mean, is it like premium money (that most mmo's you pay or sub to the game to get it it's often like gold or silver or whatever) or is it just in game money you get at the end of missions/battles?

What money are you asking about? You got the money that you actually have to pay for, which is used to buy extra bay slots and cosmetic items.

Then you have the money that you earn in game, which is used to buy weapons/ammo and mechs. I cant recall off the top of my head if there is anything else you can use it for, as I have only seen a few post so far talking about money. Hope it helps.
