Put down my money for best pack. I look forward to mech on mech fighting. I have sorely missed giant suits of tech blasting each other while tromping about.

When the beta finishes, will I be keeping all the mechs I had purchased in that time regardles of if the prices on them raised/lowered or is everyone going to be rese. I ask this because I don't want to buy elite then spend some of the premium currency on preferred mechs and find out that it was a waste because the beta ending reset all of our accouts.

Doesn't the NDA you signed expressly state that you cannot let people know that you are in the Beta? Anyway I believe that they said there will be a wipe when the Founders get early access but there will be no wipes after that.

Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but I was checking out the founders stuff before making the decision to buy, and it ended up keeping my initial selection of Catapult for my one founders mech. I don't mind the Catapult, but would like to have the Atlas instead now that I made the choice to buy in. Is there any way I can change this?

Hey Russ, any chance you all could do some yelling at playspan to fix this payment issue. Their advice was to wait 48hrs for their security system to reset, then all should work. I wait, and still declined. Even my Japanese credit card is being declined, and we are getting no help from playspan.

There are at least a handful of guys outside of the US/Europe that are all having this issue. Heck, let me send you a check to pay for this. Anything has to be better then no help at all. If there is anything you guys at MWO can do to help, please do it.

I don't think he was implying he was in the current Closed Beta; I think he's talking about when he eventually gets accepted into the A-Little-Less-Closed Beta in a few weeks. I doubt someone that is in the Beta now would actually not have an answer to that question; and be asking it here no less.

a few people have brought this up...we hope to add an opt out feature in your profile or something

To be honest, I don't mind my full name on the credtis.. I would prefer however to have my forum username there as it is more widely known than my real name is... it would also tie in with my forum account and my player (pilot) name within the game itself and so would make more sense. Maybe this would be a better way to go with the credits? Or perhaps you could have 3 options:

1. Real Name
2. Forum/Pilot Name
3. Opt Out Completely.

Just wondering if these packages will be available or something similar when the game can be pre-ordered. I have amazon gift cards waiting to be spent.

I'm curious if Thrusmater Joystick/rudder/throttles will be supported by default in-game?

I've seen something like this asked a few times already but not an aswer.

Which class of mechs will be the most profitable, will class even effect profits? I wanna pick my founders mech solely based on income.
Will Jenner make less money than the Hunchback? Will the Huncback be making more money than Catapult and Atlas?
Will founder Atlas be losing money, just not as much as a reglar one?

A.k.a. which of the founder mechs will make credit farming the least time consuming?
Jenner, Hunchback or..?

I skimmed the thread and could not see the question asked or answered, but as a purchaser of the Elite Founder Package, is the choice of mech made at the launch of the game? I didn't see any option at purchase.

Speaking from when I bought the pack you should have been asked which mech then. Your receipt should also mention which mech you chose. If it says MECH: NONE than you might want to contact support.

I searched a little bit but couldn't find this question thus far. so... here's my simple question.

Will I be able to spend the ingame currency, provided in the founder packs, to extend my premium membership? Or can I only spend the currency to buy some equipment, ammunition and so on?

I don't know this for sure of course - but I'd say no since it simply wouldn't make sense to earn lots of C-Bills and XP's with a premium account and then using those C-Bills to prolong the duration of said premium account. In the end PGI wouldn't earn any money if people dont buy premium accounts with real cash.

I believe he's talking about the in-game currency you can purchase with real money, and comes with each of the founders packs in different amounts.

I have seen this asked but not seen it answered (apologies if it has been and I missed it):

Will those of us who purchased the Elite/Legendary packages receive additional mech bays for the Founder's Mechs, or will we start the game with some/all of our starting bays occupied?

I believe I read that founder's mechs would come with a mech bay per mech. So no, you won't start with all of your bays occupied.

Yep. Those are the C-Bills. And it wouldn't make sense to buy premium accounts for ingame currency since you basically had to buy only for once an premium account with real cash and after that it shouldn't be much of a problem for you to pay the incomming bills with your added ingame currency boost. Thus PGI wouldn't make much money out of you.

Confirmed. It's been said that the founders mechs don't take up any space in your mechbays.
