From what I can see a Month's Premium is worth $10 while a Mech w/Garage Slot is worth $15

I think people have a problem with the "value" of the Legendary price due to the discount involved:

Veteran: 30/50 = 60 = 40% discount
Elite: 60/115 = 52 = 48% discount
Legendary: 120/170 = 30% discount

Normally the more you pay the bigger the "discount"....

Here's a question that I haven't seen yet, but I didn't read all 42 pages. Will it be possible to have multiple pilots? The reason I ask is it would be nice to have extra pilots who can specialize in different mech types instead of trying to master them with a single pilot.

Was in the process of trying to talk myself into buying the Legendary Package and noticed the same thing. I was trying to figure the % discount and I thought I was doing the math wrong. Then I just did it the easy way. If I go Elite i "save" $55.00. If I go Legendary I "save" $50.00. The more $ I give the less I get for my money. Seems like there should be another month or two of Premium and/or another $10-$20 worth of in game currency. Seems weird to me.

If I wasn't such a cheap son of a biscuit I would have just bought Legendary and not cared about the math.

SInce so many people have bought founders' packages but would like a different color or shape for their founders tag, can that be selectable for different option some day in the future. Not asking to hide it like some people want to do lol.

with August 7th approaching when can we expect to download the client? hopefully a few days before the 7th

Also good work on the MWO so far looking forward to playing in the near future.

Yep, for this reason alone, i bought myself(just now) the "elite" rather than legendary.

If they up the value of the legendary pack(either additional in-game currency, or some other benefit), i'd be happy to pay the price for it by the 7th of Aug.

I just don't think there's the value in it now. Yes yes, there's the additional 'supporting the dev costs' idea, which is great, for sure... But my point stands.

Just remember buying..... 3 more MEK's im game will cost you.....Time/ in game money/cbills..

1) Time...it might take you several months of play to get enough to buy a New mek Hanger Slot..then the Mek..then.....
2) Money....alot of in game money to get Slots/ hanger space and then Cbills to buy the MEK ???

Im hope'n this game makes players work for upgrades so not every new player can be running around w/ the best stuff in a matter of Days/week of logging on for the first time

Will premium months be buyable with the 40-80 dollars of credit we recieve?

Will future premium mechs and bundles be purchasable with the 40-80 dollars in credits we recieve?

Without the premium time and just with the mechs for a reduced price (without the cost for the premium time) this offer would be more interesting...

I believe that they said that Premium won't be activated until the official release date. Founders that start play on Aug 7 will only have the premium activated upon official release when everyone can play.

How many licks does it take to get the center of a....oh wait wrong question. Ah! Once the Founder packs are no longer on sale will those of us that couldn't afford the money to get them have a chance to purchase items that would give similar bonuses minus the tag and skin?
