Unfortunately we have very poor registrations. By now there are only 7 teams registered and two of those are Blue Vengeance.
Since we need the registrations for the exact scheduling of the tournament I will have to close registration next week. The size of the tournament will be determined of the amount of registrations we will have by then. The only way to guarentee a participation is to be registered by then.

Furthermore I will open the number of teams a single unit can send to the tournament. You now can send as many teams as you want!

REGISTRATION CLOSES ON FRIDAY APRIL 11TH 2014 12PM GMT+1

To register just send an email to s7housechampionships@gmail.com
We will need the following informations from every team that wants to enter:
  • Teamname
  • Unit / Clan / Chapter (only if the case, and only 2 teams per unit)
  • Faction (Only Inner Sphere - Clanplayers please choose the Faction you have ingame)
  • Player 1 - Teamleader and contact person
  • Player 2
  • Player 3
  • Player 4
  • Player 5 (only if the case)
  • Player 6 (only if the case)
  • The timezone your team is based in (we need to know that so we can pair you with teams from similar timezones)
  • Prefered day for your qualification (not guaranteed)
You will then recieve an answer, confirming your registration and your place on the waiting list of your faction.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To make this clear:
If we dont get significiantly more registrations we will have to cancel the tournament!

I have forwarded the removal of restriction to the number of teams to the SoR, we were having trouble picking 12 people to play.

Today the registrations exeeded the 24 teams we had at our last tournament and I will publish a first schedule during the next week.
Also I will be doing some math about the final size of the tournament. There are still plenty of spots open though, so feel free to register, unless you want to miss all the fun!

I think we've entered a couple more lances Klapp. Hope that helps a bit.

I needed to make some pressure because we couldn´t schedule the games without numbers,

Interesting news on Paul's Launch module post:
http://mwomercs.com/...90#entry3293090

Quote

Private Matches
2-24 players by invite only.
Can set game options/restrictions.
Used for competitive X vs Y players

Maybe this could add more fluent matches if lance vs lance is possible? Teams of 5 (1 org + fighting lance). Currently you need 4 place holders, so in theory same amount of drops could be done with half ppl in org side or twice the amount of drops.

We will of course use the private matches, but we will drop in 12v12 again, or at least in 10v10
By that way we can have the streamer, a co commentator and the judges. We will need at least two judges, but 4 would be better.
Since the streams are still a part of the concept of the tournament we have to remember their needs in the way we drop too.
We are still aiming to stream all of the games.
Private matches and the smaller qualification groups however will allow us to schedule the drops very precisely. In the qualification you will do three drops and a match in each drop. In addition you will only need to be online for the time of your drops. That will mean shorter waiting times for the participants as well as the viewers of the streams.

I am right now working on a new thread for the new "player created tournaments" section, which will have all the recent updates to the tournaments, including a few minor additions to the rule set and a first scheduling of the qualification games.
