Just realized they put the heros on sale I have been promising to buy next time they did.... and at a bigger sale than I expected.


....good thing I still have some spare spending cash in the bank (was hoping to hold onto it a bit longer though.... or spend it on a better keyboard.)

I wouldn't go for either of those personally (not a big assault mech player)- but heavy metal is probably the more "meta" of the two - if that matters any.

Highlanders are a more "meta" choice (IE perceived as stronger) so the Heavy Metal would be the usual suggested choice over Misery (from what little I have followed the assault metagame anyways)

Misery is very very very close by the Heavy Metal, those of the guys that can twist crazy and have a similar build to the poptarts while maintaining crazy amount of tanking ability. Heavy Metal beats it with JJs and being a Highlander, but Misery is still very prominent in the 'meta' and I've seen it with a dual PPC single AC20 build all the time, with tons of torso twist. Once you can defang the left arm and torso, then it's a walking CT.

Interesting timing on the sales actually.... announce them all now... then put them each on sale one at a time?!

Edit: does give me a few days before the Heros I want go on sale though....
With one of them not happening till the last day of the sale.

I think its a good sales strategy. People know what they want and now they have a few days to wrap their finances around it. And the sale of mechbays is an extreemly good idea as the limitation of space often makes me lean towards the "no-buy" when considering heroes.

Oh, it is an excellent sales strategy - just irritating cause my first reaction was to hit the bank as soon as possible - grab the heros I want, then forget about it, and now I gotta wait.
