Operation Silent Light

Theater: 116C-72G

Intelligence: An abandoned colony on the edge of St. Ives space, recent activity has indicated St. Ives defectors and Davion forward observation units have taken up residence. Maskirovka will determine the exact nature of the enemies, and the Gatekeepers will deploy on the surface of 116C-72G and treat any unit encountered that is not transmitting LCC IFF signals as unlawful occupants.

Objective: Gatekeepers company will fill the Hall of Fame with a record for each category.

Duration: Friday and Saturday, 2/28/14 and 3/1/14 @ 9pm Central Standard Time

I think this will be an ongoing thing. So once a record is set it stay throughout until it is beaten in the next one, or it will persist until it is beaten in one of the events by a participant. It's an interesting idea and sets a bar for the next time for people to strive for. It's always more fun when you already have something to strive to achieve.

I think I might need to practice my light mech class and medium to get my name on the board in that category.

I am generally a light mech pilot. I'll try to start showing up for events like this and dropping in on teamspeak's soon. My current play style is more of a learn from solo drops mishmash currently so I would like to start to learn to work a bit more as a lance so that I can flesh out my skills.
