So, I put an Improved Gyros Module into one of my mechs. I can't tell any difference than without it.

But it's difficult to be certain, since every match plays out differently.

I'm curious how others feel about the Module.

Is it working as intended? Is it even worth equipping?

Opinions?

Yeah, especially if you're a brawler.

Remember all that cockpit shake you get when you're hit with AC"s? It goes away with it.

Don't bother to use "360 degree target" nonsense, though, it doesn't work anymore.

Sometimes it works too well and you don't realize just how much damage you have taken!

Maybe that's what's going on. Perhaps I'm just not noticing as many hits.

Works nice on ac weapons but there is still so much light you end up still shooting blind. Most the time I dont use it unless I have extrea room.

Ah, "improved gyros"... that's one of my favourite modules for cooking.
Mount the "improved gyros" module and you can cook delicious gyros*.
It's a pleasure for every mechwarrior!

"Bad food, good army"
This saying is not valid any more, thanks to the new "improved gyros" module.
Come and take a closer look at it!

The only time I really notice it is when my atlas is behing hit by all those nice ac whatevers. I can see what to shoot back now. without it under a lot of dakka you might as well just power down esc out into another match, you're dead in a few seconds.

It works but it is a double edged sword. Light hits are easy underestimated and heavy hits still blur your vision.

It seems to only really matter if you're being pelted with ballistics so it's too situational to use most of the time, in my opinion.

I guess if you're running your own dakka build and want to be able to return fire a little easier then it's good, otherwise I personally don't see much value in it; at least it's not as worthless as hill climb and isn't incredibly expensive to unlock & buy, again unlike hill climb.
